In a little hidden place, far far away, where a moon glows over mountains…
A girl watches her friend weave her web. You see, Spider's are welcome here, cheered on, in fact. As they weave strange little delicate webs, encasing non-living birds…
A place where a girl pup really does think she is a bathing beauty. From her private spa, she hollers for her bubbles, as I hurry along. (Just don't let her know, she's not a pup anymore)
In this place a girl has chosen to let her hair turn to weeds. Last night, a demure low french twist, almost threw her into a whole other persona. She was demanding a fancy dinner, and wanting to have fun? What was wrong with her? She got no fancy dinner in fact. And, is back to peeking through windows, hoping noone visits unexpectedly, those long weeds growing from her head….
Let me clarify, the only unexpected visitor, that is welcomed from afar… The parcel girl. As, she brougt one lovely treat. You see, I was needing some encouragement. Not because I am sad, not because I am insane (okay okay, let me pretend). The reason, just because. Okay, and I also kinda whined for it.
It came from one wonderful girl. Just wonderful! She makes me laugh, and I adore her girls. The darling Sarah of Here I am {A Stitch in time}. As I opened the tube, I was overjoyed. I mean, you tell someone, I must have the poster in your house. They say "I'll get you one…." And then you never get it right? I never expected it would really come to me (it came quickly too). I am delighted. But wait, just when I thought I couldn't get happier, the mailing tube starts singing… And these little ladies POP out…. Dancing and positioning themselves, right on my tree (they brought two little silver trees of their own).
Desiree's bunny girl greeted them with open arms!!! And they are dancing around, ever so happily….
Wait, that's not all. The two little creatures, who I adore, sent treasures as well!!! Their own art actually.
This creation by Annie
And this creation by Eliza
Thank you girls!!!! All three of you! I am so touched!! xxo
I hope you all have a lovely little weekend!!! I wanted to have a campfire weekend of tales with you, but I will plan it for later. As typepad will be down Friday night, and I didn't plan well ( I didn't plan at all, hehehe). I am off to hang out in one of my favorite little nooks…
Find a thing or two to read and flip through & just enjoy life…
Well, before I say see you soon. I have some news. I just don't know how to tell you this. It has been a few days, and I have been avoiding the whole topic. You see this strange man here? Yes, that one…
Well that is a man, who I hope's smile makes up for the gift he brought you, for all your birthday love. I said, how could you bring this all the way from Napa? I can't give them this… And he said, "Oh, it's for your blog friends? I thought it was for you?" I said, "This is what you bring meeee?" He says, "Yes, but give this to your friends & tell them something better is coming for them." Oh, Greeeeeat!
So here you have it. Your gift. Don't ask. I do not understand it either…

Oh Ms. Fanciful,
Lovee’s a Lovee’s for sure, and girl-pup deserves such a swell spa! Your plastic ballerina’s are very nice, some of their cousins live here with me, they’re dancin’ the night away for sure.
All for now.
I love this place
Ohhh…i want to join the puppy spa! I tell you, MS. Meena and I are just about to melt up here! And, I am loving the moon photo…Rich and I did that ourselves last night (and may again tonight) Sweet Mr. Lovee…gifts are always so appreciated! (I’ve never even had Flott before!)

Oh Mr. Lovee….tell him the sardines they are stinkeeee…LOL…It’s the thought that counts though and Mr. Lovee looks like he might be very sweet not stinkee at all…teehee
How precious!!!!!!!!!!
Love your “pup” by the way!!!
it’s fishies in three languages! i love that shot of the moon over the hills! (is that a real bird on mr. lovee’s shoulder?!)
Bathing beauty is such a sweetie. I’d bring her bubbles any ol’ day.
I want a poster too! I like it.
Did I see sardines? Ok, I’m totally lost with the gift thingy going on? Is that “the” Mr. Lovee?
Back to the sardines. I’ll bring the saltines to go with the sardines…..yummy!
xo
Ah, bless you. We’re touched you put the pictures on your site, especially Eliza, who took a while to understand how her picture made in into the computer! Thank you for the thanks, you’re the best gift recipient ever!
what wonders! love the spiderweb over the sweet birdy…and your pup! how adorable….looks like
Mr Lovee who
looks very distinguished, is ready for a meze plate…where are the olives
and brandy shots?
Awww! Puppy and I both have a head full of grass! I thought you’d twist your puppy’s hair into a fanciful twist and then paint her.
Mr. Lovee has some fanciful hair too 🙂 He looks very sweet Vanessa. But tell him to take that awful gift and toss it in the spa cuz I’m not eating it. Not when there is chocolate in the house.
Ok, now I’m really jealous. I have no poster. No Annie and Eliza art. I’m am not as loved. It saddens me! 😀
Baby looks like one of those pin up ladies from the 50s. All demure, laying on her tummy, her arm blocking her “bosoms.” I’m sure her legs would be flipped up in back, if she bent that way!
And Mr. Lovee, we never thought you were mysterious! But now we can see that you are handsome and wonderful and not a wrinkled old gasbag. So don’t be mad at Miss v, she did you a service!
The pictures of your home and all the lovely artwork are amazing! Thanks so much for sharing them with us, and please thank Mr. Lovee for the lovelies! 😉
Have a fun weekend!
mwaaah!
i want your art collection, and even more i want that living tree with all the precious things dangling off it!
and i do like the idea of hair turning to weeds, im thinking of mermaids now, ans the seaweed hair……drifting, floating.
but what is Lovee up to i wonder…?
xxx
I have the exact same poster and the same cake stand. See, you’re right, we’re twins! You have Madonna crowns and religious icons just like mine too. And those dancing beauties are a great addition to your tree! Hope you’re having a lovely weekend. And very handsome fella, whoever he is and whatever that is from Napa. xo
Ohh……
Cute, cute blog! Made me smile. Thanx!
Your home looks wonderful!
Ah, Mr. Lovee looks fabu in that jacket. 😀 And thanks for the gift! It was JUST what I wanted.
However, I imagined him with a Bluebird on his shoulder. It’s the truth! It’s actual! Everything is satisfactual. . . zippidy do dah, er, where was I? 😀
Ohhhh yes!!
there’s baby…she looks happy!!
So that is Mr. Lovee! Now I have a face with the name. You know I love the way you write here. Great artwork you got there! Annie and Eliza did wonderful jobs. Oh Sardines, yummy! (how do you type sarcasm LOL):)
Do you know that in Greek Religion, the spider Arachne , is is protecting handicraft people? In fact it amazed me that some of your creations’ stand reminds me of Goddess Athena, who also protects the crafts.
And I adore this little nook…
Enjoy!
You have the most charmed post box I have ever known – what amazing delights flow through it! And I have to say, the treats we’ve been waiting for are quite up my alley. I’m a huge fan of salted little fishies squeezed into cans. Really!
Such an awesome moon over the mountains, there’s some amazing vast expanses of beautiful scenery over there. I think I’m going to have to get that ‘Keep Calm’ poster, I’m seeing it everywhere in blogland 🙂
The dancing ladies look very content on your tree, as is bunny girl. Don’t worry about Mr. Lovee bringing back sardines, it’s the thought that counts (not sure if international shipping will allow for food to be mailed anyway)…nice to meet him at last 🙂
Love the poster..good message.
Mr. Lovee so handsome and I see the attracts birds…I looooove sardines and if they are called Flott they must be good (Flot is Danish for elegant, good looking, beautiful) So Mr. Lovee looks very Flot in the photo.
