I've so been enjoying the last few days of full Halloween immersion.
Some parts of my house are still pastel infused.
But spooky bits and bobs are trickling in.
Dusty chandelier adds to the effect 🙂
I love haunted house tales, so this area is an ode to the haunted playroom.
We've been watching lots of scary movies and eating too many treats.
She looks quit harmless there, smiling with her dolly.
But if you're in the room, in any angle but straight on, she looks like this.
And that changes everything, doesn't it?
Is she nice or wicked?
You be the judge.
I usually worry that I am not getting enough Halloween.
If you are a Halloween lover you know what I mean.
But this year I really have truly enjoyed it so much.
Loving every minute.
Taking some time to just enjoy and savor the season.
Just beware of who's watching you.
Ooooooo!
We'll be right here, playing in our haunted cove.
Waiting for the clock to strike midnight.
The dining room has gotten some black and spooky infusions.
There's sooo many treats.
Not enough tricks though, but I'll leave that up to Matty and Miles.
It's time for pumpkin pancakes and some dark honey my friend brought me.
How are you out there?
Enjoying the season?
I love today and tomorrow, love love love!
I intend to have more fun than I can handle.
See you soooooon!
I'll try to come back sooner than soon with more pics.
Love, Vanessa
Have you ever tried to play the Ouija?
Clink clink!
Any tales?

I think she and her murderous looking dolly should stay right there and as far away from me as possible! Haha..they are so creepy to me. Nope. No can do. 😬
Happy Halloween!
I have spooky books to read, spooky movies to watch, pumpkin themed meals on the menu for dinner, plenty of treats, and a jack-o-lantern grinning at me from the table. I’m enjoying Halloween… Glad to see you are too!
Happy Halloween!
LOVE love love that coffee mug V!! All your other decor is just too pastel for me for Halloween but i know how much you love it. 🙂 But that coffee mug! Yes MUST have it… wherever did you find it?? I have played with a Ouija board but nothing spooky to report… I have never tried by myself just with other playmates and you know you can never trust someone not to move it… I may like to try on my own… You?? Hugs! deb
I could not let the day go by without wishing you a wickedly HAPPY HALLOWEEN! We have been enjoying time in haunted woods, I have been reading more about psychics and gypsies and ghost stories and adoring my delightfully patched dark torti kitten who presented herself at my back door.
I love OUIJA boards, the older the better. That is where the real magic lives.
How can people be afraid of the new, cheap plastic versions?
Magic lives inside each of us and we are the ones who make it good or evil.
Oooooo Ouija boards makes the hair on my neck stand up! 😉 Now what I can really appreciate is a pretty little flower spirit board that I purchased in your lovely shop! Happy Halloweeeeen my pretty!
My mom had a Ouija board that she forbade us kids to touch – we were super excited one night when my cousin Bhava (<---studied in India, always smells faintly of incense, first nose ring I ever saw, awesome singer, sent dreamy letters from faraway lands with artsy envelopes and feathers and sequins inside)came to visit and convinced mom to get it out!! They turned off the lights and lit candles --the works. It spelled out "mysterious die" and THAT was the end of that~!!!
