Hello there!

It's super duper extra springy outside, mixed with sweets and breezes and picnics at home to come.
I am peeking in to say heloooooooooo, and Happy Easter too!
While mister is out getting a few things for meal preps, I am sneaking in to chat with you, and share what's up around our neck of the woods.
I gardened for 7 hours this morning.
(I wonder if things would be easier if I didn't grow 95% of my garden from seed? With protecting seedlings and more. But then again, I love the excitement in watching seeds grow)
Then got some pretty blue eggs ready for hiding.
Finding the right spot is just the key to a successful egg hunt, me thinks.
Hiding them is almost more fun that looking for them.
Don't you think?
Snuggle them in, cozy as can be…
Not too hidden, but tossed naturally about, here and there…
Pretty blue eggs do just the trick…
Okay, so I got a little carried away…
Miles is like, "Hey mumsers, watcha up to?"
"Got a couple of them eggers there fur me?"
And I am like, nope, but I have an Easter cascaron to share with you…
And he's like, "a casca what?"
But before I can explain, I have cracked it in my hands and let the tiny confetti fly about.
It's so pretty in his fur…
Matty comes over and sniffs around.
But, he is sick of me for the day, and goes to nap on the chaise. What with me forcing him to take a nice warm shower and all. He is extra lovely when he is clean.
Miles eyeballs the eggs….
Miam miam…
But I quickly gather them up – as their human papa is expecting deviled eggs right about now!
I hope you are out scampering around somewhere lovely, enjoying a beautiful day, filled with belly laughs and deep fresh breaths of spring air!
It's springing everywhere, well almost everywhere.
In other places it's fall! How exciting too!
And with that, I bid you adieu and also get to say, see you real sooooon!

Have a great Easter and I love your blue eggs. I used your little puppets for my Easter table and posted about it over on my blog if you want to check it out.
Hi there, V.! I am so happy to find you here today! What kind of kabob-y confection is that in the first couple of photos?? I can’t quite figure it out, but I would like three, please. Oh, and I recognize Sixlets candies in your Easter basket. My luv for them began in childhood and continues on. I occasionally still indulge. : ) You gardened for 7 hours this morning? Klunk. That was just me fainting. You have stamina I can only dream of!! Love your beautiful blue and greenish eggs and that Miles and Matty made an appearance. But where oh where were their Easter bonnets? ; )
The garden looks lovely, Vanessa! I am so looking forward to be getting things in order here and getting some flowers planted soon. If it ever stops raining! When my kids were little, I colored eggs one Easter and hid them outside. When we went out to look for them, the kids could only find about 4 of the dozen eggs I hid. When I looked at the dog I realized why, as I looked at the pink, blue and purple all around her mouth!
Vanessa as usual I love the post and all the wonderful pictures. Hope you had a wonderful Easter. The eggs are so pretty, the roses gorgeous and of course your dog is so sweet! Life has been crazy and it is a breath of fresh air to read your blog. Hugs, Bobbi Jo
Awww sweet puppy and what beautiful colored eggs Vanessa! Happy Easter,
Jamie 🙂
what a lovely spot for an egg hunt…we managed to do ours by the sea in the most perfect egg hunting weather ever.
so much fun.
smooches to you and your furry babes.

eeeeek! Everything is sooo pretty!
Sweden is warming up too, finally, and abnormally! Like, t-shirt weather. NOT normal this time of year – we’ll be so disappointed if it starts snowing again and it probably will… Even though there are little flowers popping up and the grass is getting greener by the minute.
I can feel the morning air in this post…and smell the early morning garden smells….herbs and flowers always have such a magical scent in the morning, don’t you think!? Its a faerie time, methinks! What a delight, my dearie!!
Lovely, lovely, lovely! I haven’t done an egg hunt for some time, but they were ever so fun. Your wonderful photos and tales (also tails) pretty much get me through the work day on Mondays, so thanks!
Such sweetness here! Thank you for sharing your Easter with me. Great photos :]
I love all the colors of Spring, and yes we smell it in the air…even here in Michigan. Beautiful photos.
Oh my how sweet! The food, the flowers and the doggie = )
Thanks for sharing this beautiful spot in the world that is yours. Spring at your place is like summer at mine. At last the grass and the trees are getting green in the north. Hugs /Therese

Awwwww…Miles is so beautiful. His fur is so soft and clean…I can smell his lovely coat from here, at my computer screen!
Just wish I could give him a big cuddle, as I bury my nose in his fur….
I love that you had the stern rock after making a comment about Mr. Lovey. Way too funny!!!
Happy Belated Easter
ohhh your eggs are gorgeous! we did it the old fashioned way and got dye all over our hands :p all of Cowboy’s family came and there was lots of chaos and running around and good food and little kids hopped up on jelly beans (NO PEEPS! can you believe it? I got no peeps this year!) and dozens and dozens of eggs hidden…we’ve found 3 so far, post easter :p
we planted our garden from seedlings too, except for 2 early girl tomato plants that were gifts from a friend, and everything is just starting to peek up out of the warm oil to see what’s going on this side of the world 😉 we’re expecting Big Bad Weather tonight and I’m fretting over my wee plants…..I’m sure they’ll be fine, right?

Hello, Miss Vanessa
I am a bit late in viewing your Easter post…love the goodies in the first photo…looks like stacks of sherbet ice cream! What lovely pastel colors.
I can imagine Matty and Miles would wolf down those eggs in a tryst! I was giggling when I came to the photo with the grouchy rock face…how fun!
