I have something fun to tell, and funner to share with you today. You see, for about a year, I have been spending much time with a whole bevy of characters…

They are a part of something very dear, that I am working on. As I looked at some of them the other day, I thought, why not introduce you to a little group of some of the faces I spend my days with?
Maybe even share them with you?
So, I did some redrawing magic, and turned them into little paper puppet heads…
Then I thought, "wait, these could double as egg wrappers for Easter!"
(remember the ones from 2009?)
So, here are 6 of my littles, ever so happy to say hello to you.
I turned them into printables, that you can use for personal use, in a wide range of crafty fun and whimsical ways. (give them several seconds to open)
The link above will gift you a two page printable that looks like the pages below. You can print as many as you'd like.

If you would like to use these as egg wraps, simply cut them out, wrap them around your egg, and tape the ends together in the back.
Easy.
We always have brown, light green or spotted eggs in our house, but I conjured up some white eggs so you could see how even a very plain white egg looks cute wrapped up as such. Of course, you can also dye your eggs, but if you have not the time or energy for such a thing, then simply print these, cut them out, and wrap your eggs up 😉
But wait, I am so rude.
I didn't properly introduce you to the litttle cuties.
Please do meet…
Lotti
Humphrey…
Tilly…
Cricket…
Lionel…
And, sweet Sam ;)
In our family we like to use plastic eggs that can be opened to reveal a treat, or coins. So, for a plastic egg, you can still use an egg wrap, or even doll your eggs up a bit with tissue and a ribbon, and place your egg wrap on the outside…
Or….
If you can procure some large chocolate eggs (such as these large French chocolate eggs Mombie gave me a few weeks ago) then you can most easily, use your egg wraps the same way…
I myself am using my little paper puppet heads to put around vases, and all sorts of things around my house…
I even wrapped some around sticks and made lil' puppets for playing with.
Mister Lovee suggested I wear one, but he had not noticed that I already had one around my wrist. I held my arm up and we both laughed.
I hope you enjoy these, and that you liked meeting a few of the characters that are part of my days. It's so lovely to get to share them.
I must go cut a few sets…
Have a beautiful & scrumdilyumptious spring week!!
See you soooon 😉

These are so pretty, Vanessa! You are such a generous soul. Happy Easter!
Oh, thank you for your introduction to these special friends, and thank you for allowing them them to come into our homes! I love them. Just like I love you and all the whimsical magic you bless us with. Gorgeous ring, by the way!
Thank you for these adorable printable puppets to put anywhere we want to! They are so sweet!

Miss Teresa
How cute! And since I do play favorites, mine is Humphrey.
Miss Vanessa….??? wink Pray tell what are you up to?? Sounds like something intriguing. You are a scoundrel for hinting that way. Tra-la! Love these little egg decoration/puppets. Have a delightful Easter. I just know you will. Cheers, Kathy
thanks so much for this as I was just looking for something to set out on each plate on Easter on top of the napkin. I think these will work well. I’ll try and find chocolate eggs, if not I’ll do dyed eggs and wrap them in tissue with a ribbon like you did, very cute idea.
Oh Miss Valencia – How absolutely sweet!! I love these!
You are soo creative!!
I hope you and your sweet ones have a lovely Easter!!
Sincerely, Miss Palencia
Oh adorable. Thank you for sharing
Oh Miss V, they are such adorable little creatures!!! Are you illustrating a children’s book…please do tell ;-).
I almost mistook little Tilly for me or you with her delectable berry helmet perched on top her wee small head. Please, dipping in the chocolate is a no-no! We must behave like ladies now, mustn’t we? Hee hee!!!
I’ll have to come back to the other computer tomorrow morn and print some. Then they can enjoy the festivities here as well as at your little love shack in the dessert…oops! I meant to type, “desert,” but “DeSsErT” will do just fine. HHmmmm….could I have a closer look at Tilly’s berry Helmet…just a little one…PlEaSe!!!!??????
Love me
Oh! I forgot to say thank you in advance…how very un-lady like of me ;-O

These are so very sweet. Thank you so much.
How lovely. I’m delighted that I found your site. I love how you wrapped some of the eggs in tissue with ribbon.
Oh they are just lovely Ms. Vanessa! Your girls from 2009 are still some of my favorite goodies you’ve been so kind to share, and now these, yipppee!! THANK YOU so much dear friend and Happy early Easter to you. I can’t wait to get home, print these up and have fun with my girls with these.

Cuteness-I got excited at 1st cuz i thought it was Pip! and his sister…and a random mouse…:p but that’s because i just watched Great Expectations last Sunday ;p
I want some finger puppets! Eeks blasted broken printer 🙁 boo. i need to get it fixed or get a new one STAT!
Did I tell you about “Bunny Idol?” i used to entertain Lost Boy Cody (and to his utter horror sometimes, his friends) for hours and hours with the sock puppet with an attitude. there were others, but he was the main puppet…so we’re jiggy with puppets around here!
You are coolness and creativity personified! Go girl!
and Happy Easter. xoxoviixoxv
That makes your little eggs truly personal. They look so whimsical and special! And you’re so kind to share with everyone. Happy Easter!
Caroline
Humphrey is my kinda man! Too bad he’s only an egg, we could have had such a meaningful relationship! They are darling, Missy V. The “Poop” lady.
These are adorable!!! I think my favorites are Cricket and Sweet Sam. Happy Easter, Lady V.
Miss Vanessa! THANK YOU BUNCHES!!!! Big hugs. I loved meeting all these “fanciful” characters – and you have shared them so generously with us. I can’t even choose a favorite – I love them all. You have provided such amazing uses for them besides eggs. Although I love that idea of using plastic eggs – much less hassle! LOL Have a most amazing weekend, dearest, and happy Earth Day! xoxo Theresa
Happy easter!
