Oooooo, it’s getting to feel like that time.
Sweater mornings, crispy evenings.
Pumpkin holiday, not too far away!
We have a great group of sponsors to share.
Right in the right hand sidebar, under Lovely Sponsors –>
(spaces open too, info here)
It’s so wonderful to be able to help promote and share other businesses here at AFT.
For this Saturday I have a super special treat for you.
It’s a delightful creation by Tracy over at
Side of the Road ~ Cottage and Gothic Romance…
I was peeking around her shop last week, and fell in love with this piece.
I was going to buy it for myself, naughty naughty.
But then I thought, you know, this would be so fun to share with one of you.
A giveaway.
Of the Halloween variety.
It is sparkly too, can you see that?
Yumm.
It’s fantastic, I know.
What a lovely little Halloween treat, no?
I also love her Kitty Kat.
Oh I love everything Tracy makes really.
Her attention to detail wins me over every time.
So, say howdy in comments, and I’ll draw a name/number at random in a day or so.
Isn’t this fun??
We so needed a Halloween infused giveaway.
I need to plunge.
I have been so busy, but now that huge chores are done in the real world, I vow to plunge into spooktacularness, for sure!
It was so chilly this morning.
It is til warm mid-day creeps in.
But chilly mornings and evenings, and warm sunshine days are grand.
Creatures are peeking out…
Mister Lovee is making french toast…
It has been summer here since April really.
So, this shift in weather is mind bogglingly delicious in every way.
Pop your name in the proverbial hat, and I’ll see you ever so soooon!
And, visit Side of the Road for more lovely creations 🙂
Love, V
ps:
My fave 🙂

OoOo, I’ll join your giveaway if you join mine 🙂
We never really got a summer this year, and we already have frost at night…
Oh my heart melts with happiness Vanessa. Please toss my name into the mix for this delightful and generous giveaway. Awesomeness as always, is your spot on the web. Hugs, Norma, x
So cute! I am loving the coolness the last couple of days as well. It finally is starting to feel like fall. I of course have already been decorating for the best and spookiest holiday of all!
Lovely Vanessa – oh what a lovely site to visit – the side of the road – she has lovely bunny tags among other goodies. So kind of you to share with all of us & reading your blog always brings about the spirit of all things Halloween. I do hope sometime you & Mr. Lovee have a chance to visit Half Moon Bay (sf bay area) as they have one of the oldest pumpkin festivals in the country. Pumpkins have been grown there for years & years. There is a contest each year for the biggest pumpkin. Pumpkin growers from all over the country bring their pumpkins for the weigh-in. Half Moon bay is a magical place being on the ocean and even more so in the autumn months.
light & love to all of you,
Robin
Oh, that movie is so campy…it’s perfect.
Bette Midler’s teeth are so hideous.
SJP is almost unrecognizable, too.
Laura, I swear I adore SJP in that. She looks amazing, she should dress like that all the time 🙂
I shall pop over to Side of the Road. Always love your delightful posts and it’s going to be exciting to see what you cook up for the rest of October. Toss my name in, too. Diane
Hocus Pocus is such a fun film!! I might just have to pop over to Netflix for an afternoon of Halloween movies while I’m playing in my studio :o)
I’m falling in love all over again with fall here in AZ. The weather today is picture perfect… humidity lifted and cool breezes flowing…. Ahhhh bliss.
Honey Man’s well on the mend from this summer of hand surgeries and slowly back to playing music in his studio… Ahhhh bliss.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Always, Queenie
Hocus Pocus is nearly a religion in our family. LOL My brother, who adores all things Halloween-y, bought this DVD for my kids as soon as they were old enough to watch television! And being that I have three daughters and a son, there is a whole lot of “virgin lighting the black flame candle” play acting going on. 🙂
This is an adorable giveaway!
Throw my name in the hat please and Happy Autumn!!!!
Howdy!
I love Halloween and I love your blog and I’d love to win beautiful giveaway!
I would love to be entered in your giveaway drawing! It is indeed a beautiful little basket!! I just love this wonderful holiday – all month really. The feel of the weather change and the turning of the leaves just makes me feel alive and mysterious. I just love the magic and the mystique that Halloween evokes. Love your fall posts too, yes fall most of all. Patiently waiting for yet another special Halloween party from Fanciful Twist!!!
We had some wonderfully crisp mornings here, too….finally!! Though, by next Thursday supposed to near 100 degrees again! What?!
It hasn’t been as Autumn-y as I’d like for my Halloweeny Festivities….but that little treat is sure to put anyone in a pumpkiny mood 🙂
Thanks for dropping my name in the bucket!
Oh, yes! Throw my name in too. How fun for Halloween! Thanks!
I’d love to have my name thrown in the hat, Vanessa! Such fun creations. I love your pumpkin head man in his roadster! 🙂 It has been cooler here, but a lovely coolness. I’ve been enjoying it after the horrible Summer we had and have taken some walks. Short walks until I get rid of this cold, but it has been wonderful to be out feeling the sun on my face and kicking at some leaves on the ground.
I LOVE Hocus Pocus. The kids think I’m nuts, but it’s one of my very favorites. 🙂 I’ll throw my name in the hat!
Oh my, I’ve been so swamped here – between hubby’s illness, and preparing for a big show, I haven’t visited in AGES. Please do toss my name in the giveaway hat, and please also add me to your list of Halloween partiers (just added a comment, along with my link, on that post)…
Must remember to paint something for a Halloween party giveaway, teehee…
🖤 Carolee

Ha! You know it’s been a long day when you read sweater morning and think to yourself “sweater morning? What on earth is one of those?” Of course sweater as in jumper, pullover, warm thing make of wool, sweater!
Tracy has a great little shop, and Mr. Lovee’s french toast looks divine. Yummy!
Funny that you posted Hocus Pocus. The owlets and I have been watching that, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Practical Magic allllll summer. We like to get a head start on Halloween in our house. 😉
Thank You for posting this video…one of my absolute faves for Halloween : ) Also love
SJP’s “come little children” song from the broomstick. Pure Halloween spirit!
Oh, what a fun movie…my “big girls” – and Jonathan – loved it so! It’s been so long that we only had it on VHS – I may have to get it again on DVD! (Do any of you ladies watch NCIS, and did you realize that the Binx character is “McGee”? 🙂
Tracy’s work looks just lovely – I’ll have to check out her shop!
Hugs,
Anne & the Kitties
Would love to participate in the giveaway! Those baskets look absolutely adorable 🙂
I absolutly love giveaways…I would love to enter. All this Halloween fun, It makes me dizzy with happiness and joy.
Hocas Pocus even more Halloween fun.
What a truly fun shop! So sorry I missed the fab giveaway. French toast…oh yum. You know, we had PANCAKES for dinner tonight – topped with the most yummy local maple syrup. I was a bad girl and added chocolate chips to mine…oh so good. Thanks for that fun video. I love Hocus Pocus – and especially Sarah Jessica Parker. You have to admire a talented actress who, in real life, is actually a good person!
Oh I am sure I am late for the giveaway but it is always a treat just to be able to visit with you.
Please add my name.
