I was at the craft store the last week in July, loading up on supplies. I walked into the store and was blindsided by autumn decor. I was jolted. I am not ready, I thought. So, I didn’t look at it at all.
Of course, I am a major major major autumn lover, and would love a break in the weather. But it was still July…
I went home with a gasping sense of passing time, and as brutally hot as summer is, I felt a huge need to hold on a little bit longer.
I am a total Halloween nut, love love love it.
But I just wasn’t ready.
I drove home, and then had to give myself a sly smirk.
I felt like a sheepish hypocrite.
I mean, really…
I have been collecting Jack be Littles out of the garden, and adorning my home with them for a couple weeks.
Tickled pink.
Or, is it orange?
Had I not noticed the trickle of autumn loves in my own world yet?
It’s not their fault they are born in the summer here.
Silly me.
I am pumpkin crazed.
You know that already, right?
It’s borderline annoying, I know.
But truly, I ask….
Doesn’t one orange orb hold so many worlds of feelings and memories?
Hay rides and crisp air.
Childhood fun, dress up.
Caramel apples, and on and on?
Double bubble, toil and trouble.
Of the wonderful variety that is 🙂
I have collected pumpkins of all sizes out of the garden.
Just the first little wave.
Many more still growing.
The ones below came off the vine too early.
But the vines that housed these babes below were ravaged by gophers at the root. So they are a tad green, but almost all orange now.
(pumpkins, carrots, cabbage)
There is still food collecting going on, as the gargantuan sunflowers droop over.
Remember the giant sunflower from a couple of months ago?
Well, it fell over in the last storm, and there were carrot babies in the roots.
Isn’t that cute?
And, oh the pumpkin patch.
Just when I think it can not possibly get any bigger, it does.
I took the photo below just the other day, and I swear it’s already covered the bottom left hand side of the photo and continued to crawl about farther.
Giant leaves.
The other day I realized that, I am not really grasping the pumpkin patch.
I know it is there.
I know I tend it and bees fly around doing their job.
But, the size of it.
The magnitude, had not really sunk in.
Until a couple days ago.
I got butterflies in my belly and did a pumpkin dance.
I think the heat fogs the brain.
But when I actually grasped my pumpkin patch, I skipped around with glee.
I am so excited I can’t believe it, I kept thinking.
I stopped and questioned myself.
How could you not have realized you had a large pumpkin patch?
You planted the seeds and protected the baby seedlings you daft woman.
Yes, I know.
But somehow, my brain was blocked.
The pumpkin patch has 3 kinds of seeds.
Jack -o’- lantern Pumpkins.
(store bought seeds).
Fairytale Pumpkins, also known as Musquee de Provence.
(seeds from my own huge pumpkin from last autumn, awesome for eating and looking at)
(also known as, Rouge Vif d’Etampes’ – seeds taken from my own pumpkin)
Things are going well.
Growing away…
Oh yay, yay!
Pumpkin love!
This one is HUGE below.
Although, there are several lost too, in the cross pollination.
It’s good to only have one type in one area.
I mixed 3 and gambled a bit.
But, there are about 20+ mixed types that look good out there right now.
A few of the Fairytale ones are the ones dying after they get about basket ball size.
Sniffle.
Just something that has happened in my garden when I plant too many types next to each other.
But, no fear.
Lots make it too.
Fingers crossed, hopes high.
Patch growing as we speak.
Or type.
Or read.
Little loves…
Don’t they hit the spot?
Sweeties!
Speaking of sweeties, look at the treasures made by Eleni, A Pink Dreamer. She shipped them all the way from Greece for a giveaway.
Yes, a giveaway, isn’t that fun???
3 folks will get a treasure.
Hooooray!
Just leave a comment to be entered.
1st name drawn gets first choice, etc.
Fun fun, fun in the sun!!
😉
Looove, V
ps: Nap time in the summer.
Miles looooves his toys.
He goes through them quick, and I get such joy buying them for him.
I put them in a great huge bag in the living room, and he digs them out, and taunts you with them. You know, the whole bit.
When I found him asleep with his little green dragon creature thing, I melted.
He’s big, but he’s still a 1 year old baby 🙂
And of course, will always be a puppy to me.
As for Mister Matty, he is always by my side.
Mama’s little protector, that is the role he sees as his.
Love him so…
Furry tid-bits for the day.

Vanessa:
There are very few things I love more than pumpkins, (besides my family, of course). The pumpkins I adore the most are the kind that wear their crikity, spooky, weedy stems and vines uptop! Just like the one you show in the first picture.
Unfortunately, I have to choose my pumpkins from the grocery and finding one with just the perfect stem is maddening. I will spend an hour or more going through the boxes of pumpkins, looking for one that still has some vine attached and has an actual stem…not a stump.
Oh how I dream of a day I can choose my own pumpkins from a vine. I can leave just as much messy stuff uptop that my heart desires.
You gave me pumpkin envy. 🙁
xoxo
Kim
Gerushia’s New World
P.S. Love to Miles and Matty!
Every year, I kick our shriveled punkins off the porch (to the side) and they replant of course 🙂
Your punkin babies and doggies are so cute.
I’d have Fall forever if I could. But someday you NEED to
smell the tobacco barns firing tobacco…such a wonderful fall scent!!!
Dearest Miss V,
It was you that inspired me to start my own pumpkin patch. I was always going to the pumpkin patches and the stores in the fall, and people thought I was crazy because me and the little hatters would just feel up the basket with pumpkins. Then I saw your patch and thought maybe I could create my own fairytale patch
I am going on three years now, and even though I have had about three different patches, they always remind me of you and your little pumpkin babies. Its funny cause everyone of my family members thinks I am completely hilarious, because I have pumpkins growing all over the property in different areas. I just keep setting pumpkins all around and when they rot, I smush them up with the dirt and see if they will start growing in the spot I had put them in. Its kind of exciting just to see where they will pop up next. I especially love all the curly cue vines.
What a sweet and exciting giveaway from Eleni. Just Wonderful.
Hugs and scratches behind the ears to your furry babies, and kiss, kiss, hug, hug, to you. Have fun decorating with the pumpkin babies, and I hope to see and hear more from your lovely garden soon.
Wishes and Whimsy

All I can say is WOW. Pumpkin season is here! I love pumpkins–especially the itsy bitsy ones 🙂 My dad has tried to grow them the past few seasons but they have never picked up. 🙁 He would water them every day, too, and give them lots of care. But we only managed to get two tiny pumpkins, which I guess is better than none. And then to see your giant pumpkin patch…it must be amazing! Maybe it’s the soil or the climate? But we are in California…I don’t know. Something like that.
I love autumn as well. It used to not be my favorite season–I am definitely a winter person, through and through. As in, I hate summer with a passion, partly because it just gets so darn hot here. But my love for autumn has grown, especially with all of the Halloween and Thanksgiving festivities, and the pumpkins especially! I also love all of the trees changing color, with the leaves all fiery…and perhaps a hot chocolate in hand as the weather cools down 🙂
P.S. I just had my first driving lesson today! My permit is legalized and I can now drive! Horray! I was scared, but…it gets easier. Faith trust and pixie dust 🙂
Thanks for sharing another lovely post. Can I just say that I have definitely loved visiting and finding new posts so frequently? It is a real treat 🙂 And I would also like to thank you for your generosity with the giveaways. It is such a special event. xx
what an impressive patch!! we dont get totally into the halloween type celebrations here in my household in little old oz, but we do put ghost and pumpkin fairy lights in the window and have a bunch of treats by the door just in case. one year some young boys did come by but they werent in costume but we gave them all our treats anyway ~_~ we love pumpkin soup!! my hubby makes THE best soup ever and his cauliflower soup is even better! anyhow, enjoy what is left of your hotter than hot summer and then let the pumpkin carving begin. xxrosey
For over a month, I’ve had pumpkin fever! I was just outside with my neighbors and one said, “Let’s get a bunch of pumpkins and fill the whole yard with them.” What a cool guy 🙂 I’m so glad to have discovered this little link to a world full of others who so love the simple little things.
Chymberleigh
I truly admire (in a very good and positive manner)your MAD gardening skills. I’ve been following you for some time and really enjoy reading your posts and viewing all your gorgeous photos. I am completely amazed by your devotion. It’s obvious you are an individual who lives by purpose and enjoys life to its fullest. Hats off to you! BTW, Miles and Mister Matty are pretty darn cute!
Amazing & magical garden!
Beautiful pumpkin patch and pumpkins…pumpkins pumpkins everywhere! :))
Love them, Vanessa…and what sweet fur babies…
Well, when I was a little girl, my darling Grandmother fed me pumpkins. Lots and lots of pumpkins. Needless to say, I did not come near a pumpkin for many years…
Fast forward to my early 30’s, I fell in love with them…their charm, and their delightful flavor! Probably more than you wanted to know…but since we’re on the subject! ;))
Enjoy your magnificent bounty!
And, I LOVE the mixed media piece you posted below…magical.
Blessings,
– Irina
Love to see pictures of your beautiful garden. I tried to grow white little pumpkins this year but this summer has a record in low temperature and rain so I won’t probably be able to have any for halloween. Pity
You are so right when you talk about the giant world of feelings that are evoked by those lovely orange beauties, lol. It’s amazing how many people have such a strong affinity for autumn. All seasons have wonderful attributes, but there is just something about the fall……
You can see it all over blogland, lol, the excitement for autumn beginning to build. Yayyyy!! I have no pumpkin patch and my little cottage here in England has too small a garden to do too much…but oh how I’d love to have a pumpkin patch like yours. Gorgeous!!!!
A happy pumpkin patch dance….I felt it….my toes tapping under my desk 😛
I just love pictures of your gardens and your beautiful boys!
OOh I love autumn, I have been trying to keep myself in check doing autumn decorations so they are ready to put up in september. There is just something so snug and cosy about it 🙂
Wish I had more luck with pumpkins here, real envious of your patch. Of the two plants I put in the plot, one has been snug eaten beyond all hope and the other is dinky but trying to put out flowers anyway. The ones I planted in the greenhouse are huge vines with loads of tiny babies on, but the ones that grow bigger keep rotting off as we have had no hot sun an too much damp 🙁 I will gladly swap you some rain for some heat 🙂
Sometimes I think I should give up trying to grow pumpkins, but I love them so much I keep trying and thinking maybe next year 🙂
Mel xx
You know, I might try and grow a little pumpkin patch next year. No where near as big as yours but I think if I could grow just 2-3 pumpkins I’d be a happy girl. Hummmm time to start plotting and planning I think.
i love pumpkins!!! thanks so much my dear vanessa!!!!
Your give away is now on my blog 🙂
Have a nice day! 🙂
P.S. Pumpkins are soooo adorable!!!
Hello there! I love pumpkins. My father grows some of them at the house garden. Nice idea the giveaway. Greetings from Greece!
http://art-of-hand.blogspot.gr/
Lovely blog! Cute pumpkins! But I loved your printables aslo :-))) Keep going!!!
I love pumpkins. Had a wonderful pumpkin patch when I lived in New Mexico…grew pumpkins for the whole block! Furbabies and pumpkins .. purrfect! (Love Miles and his *dragon*)! Thank Eleni for the give-a-way! Lovely and fun!
I am always so inspired by your pumpkin pictures at the end of the summer! And jealous! For some reason I still only have two (still green ones) growing on the vines, and I don’t know if either one of them will be big enough for a jack-o-lantern. I hate our cold summers 🙁
Pictures of your babies (the dogs) always cheer me up too. My two babies are cats, and I love them and fuzz over them just like you 🙂 But we are talking about getting a little puppy too…
Your pumpkins are fabulous and you you are a pro at photographing them. Awesome job. They are all suitable for framing. I would love to own one but If I can’t I would love to walk through all your gardens
Our summer..what summer? It temporarly left. It has been raining for 2 and 1/2 days and he temps are 68. Smells like fall and feels like it too. Ok…it can stop raining and warm up now. Not ready for fall yet. Yes, he stors are getting in all the fall decore in. It is all beautiful but I’m not ready to buy yet.
Matty and Miles are so dear…I would love to sit by them and play also and maybe take some photos. My furry one send wet doggie kisses your way. Thanks so much Miss Vanessa, You are awesome.
I just keep fluctuating between wanting summer to hang on longer and for fall to get a move on and get here! Depends on my mood! But I’m always in the mood for little bitty pumpkins…don’t know what it is about them.
Thanks for the wonderful chance to win a gorgeous piece of jewelry…truly stunning!
happy weekend to you, xo
Oh my—-wonderful—just wonderful.I´m a a autumn girl.

Beautiful giveaway. Thanks for the chance.
Lorelei
Love your pumpkins! I’ve been a happy pinner lately looking for pumpkins, fall, and other Halloweeney things (is that a word) on Pinterest. Those are sweet pieces sent for your giveaway. Just lovely! And those little fur babies are most precious too. Something about their love is just intoxicating.
Blessings â¤
Lisa
I am so ready for fall. As much as I love how green it is here, the heat has been crazy!
I cannot believe how many plants I learn about on your blog. I just don’t know what I would do without the internet. I would love to enter the contest! Have a wonderful day! Your blog makes my days brighter.
Love,
Deborah
Oh pumpkin love…I wish we had wee pumpkins in our little garden! I love the fall, although I’m not sure I’m ready either, I feel ya Ms. V! Love the jewelry.
Jamie 🙂
Autumn is my favorite season! V, the pumpkins are devine and how enchanting your patch is with all of the different varieties. I am a pumpkin lover myself and because of you diplaying pictures of pumpkins, it inspired me to leave a comment for you. Maybe one day I’ll have my own patch, but for now, I too gather my pumpkins from the store. Although this year, I think we’re going to go to a pumpkin farm and take a hay ride. I can’t wait to see what more you have in store for us this autumn/Halloween and yes, the season reminds me of great childhood memories too!
Wish it was autumn year round,
Peggs
I’m torn between wanting summer to end and wanting to put up my fall decor!
Vanessa, I love your pumpkin patch! I would love to grow pumpkins, but I live on Long Island on a 35 X 100 property!
And to buy them here for fall decoration costs plenty.
I’ll just have to feast my eyes on your lovely pictures. Also, the boys are adorable. You didn’t notice your pumpkin patch, because you’ve had a few other things going on to distract you! Such lovely things from Greece!
That sounds like the lovely things from Greece distracted you. I meant to say an allergic reaction here, a big birthday bash there, working on your lovely art, etc. etc.!
Yay pumpkins! My two little pumpkin vines are growing well, but no actual pumpkins yet (I planted them kind of late). We shall see what happens! Although it looks as though you will have enough for the entire world so I suppose I shouldn’t fear!
OOOh I’m SO excited for Fall. I’ve seen all the Fall decor in the crafts shops too. But there isn’t much Halloween yet which is what I truly love. Your pumpkins are amazing! I especially like the little ones. So cute to scatter around the house for a fun burst of color and Autumn wishing.
Have a great weekend!
Tracy M.
The thrift shops are already putting out CHRISTMAS stuff. Ah well, looks like I will have more fodder for my Countdown to Kitschmas postings ….
I’d like one of those Greece goodies – I’m in!

Oh me, oh my your pumpkin patch has become ginormous! I love it! last year i bought a pumpkin for halloween and when the bottom rotted away the seeds started growing little sproutlings. I was so happy, but alas while I was on vacation my neighbor thought they were weeds and thought he was doing us a favor by plucking them right out of the ground! He meant well of course. This year I was thinking about growing more pumpkins and I was wondering what the best time to do that would be.
~Lauren 🙂
Ohh Vanessa, I loved seeing those baby carrots tucked inside your sunflower roots. As for YOUR pumpkins, especially the littles with their brilliant orange and white hues bring me, a different feeling of warmth that I Ssoooo look forward too! I just LoVe the mixture of sunflower and pumpkins together, another feeling of Happy Autumn making its way! ; )
Adorable Matty and Miles your sweet companions and ToTal Buds! I love to see our Furries hug there beloved toy while in slumber! TEE He HEE! <3 <3 <3
I love reading your blog as a fellow Autumn lover, every year around this time when I feel heart sick for rich deep Autumn and chillier weather, I write a list of all the things I love about Autumn.
Of course all this is written in glittery oranges, greens and browns, in fact I think this weekend I will start my 2012 list!!
I usually have the patience of a hummingbird and flit from picture to picture…but I couldn’t do it today. I read each and every word. I ADORE pumpkins but alas our new home has a teeny little yard so none will be planted here. Seeing yours was a little bittersweet for me. Orange is my favorite color…but so is green….and a few others. Your babies look happy, as they should. What a great giveaway too….hope I win 🙂 Hurry hurry for your Halloween party! I’m ready (and hosting my own swap!)
Pumpkins already?! Yikes it’s all moving too fast! But I love the giveaway!
Hi Helloo and Howdy!! 😀 I do hope that you post pictures for a Halloween party… though that would be a ways away… I am so happy to see wee pumpkins here! YAY! I have had my fill of our summer here in AZ, thank you very much! ;)Crossing fingers for the lovely and inspiring trinkets! xoxox
Oh I love little pumpkins! Last year, I had such success growing them in my little garden and decorating my home for the Fall/Hallowe’en season that I couldn’t wait to do it al over again. Well, this year it failed miserably and the plants died! It makes me so sad. Seeing your pumpkins thrive puts such a smile on my face. Thank you!
Miss Vanessa, I LOVE fall too. I love the colors, the leaves and the crispness in the air. Thanks very much for sharing your pictures.
Yay, pumpkins! Every time of year is perfect for them. They are quite possibly the most wonderful thing you can grow. =D
Your pumpkin patch in ginormous… @_@ I can’t wait to see all the goodies you get from it over the next few months. ^-^
I had a similar experience in the craft store the other day… I walked in out of the heat into… Fall. It was confusing… felt like I’d been hit upside the head or something. ^-^
I meandered through it, for Autumn is my favorite season, but it just did’t feel right… it felt too hurried. Like you, I want to hang on to my summer heat, thunderstorms (which we’ve had the biggest and bestest EVER this year!) and lazy feeling days just a bit longer…
However, come September 1st, I’m all ready for Fall. ^-^
XOXO
PS One of my kitties likes to sleep with a plushy bird toy that he has. He’ll cuddle it and lay his head on it like a pillow. Too much cuteness… =3
Ahhhhh how cute!!!! Love the pic with his snuggly 🙂
i was in a store in early july (i think it might have been one of those places where everything is a dollar) and darned if they didn’t already have halloween stuff out. i hate that. i love love love halloween, but i don’t want to look at stuff in the stores four months before it gets here. i love your pumpkins. i planted some of those little pumpkins and have had lots of blooms, but something happens and then they are gone…no fruit. 🙁
maybe next year!
blessings
~*~
ps…miles reminds me of my dylan who would keep his wooby (a baby blue toy) with him all the time. matty is so cute!
Hi Vanessa,
I was in a store the other day when Halloween was sneaking in. Gave me tingles. But alas, our Halloween in California will probably be warm and it’s not as fun as it is when it’s crisp and cool like when I was a child.
Your tiny pumpkin sweeties are perfect in every way! Thanks for sharing your patch and your fur babies with us.
The items in the giveaway are lovely, thank Pink Dreamer for sharing 🙂
Have a wonderful weekend!
I grew some cute little pumpkins last year, well, I started growing. I was surprised, too, because I thought it was too hot in Tucson for that kind of thing. However, I had a little visitor, unbeknownst to me, that would creep into the yard while I was at work and nibble away at my precious beauties. One Saturday morning, I saw the little thief boldly walk/run right up to the pumpkin blossoms-and made a meal of them. I named him Swisher and he now lives among us. I do not feed him anymore. But I can live vicariously through your beautiful garden!
I have to have a pumpkin patch next year. Just have to. And some butternut squash.
Love your pumpking and doggie pictures.
I’ve been thinking about fall. Thinking that the end of the month I will get out the fall decorations.
Beautiful items for your and Elini’s give a way.
I too have a massive Love for the Fall season and Halloween.
I tried to plant a pumpkin patch this year but I live in South Alabama and we got so much rain that they did not survive. Also we are having a problem with lack of bees. Never fear. . . I will try again next season with a raised bed that has good drainage. You are and inspiration of the magical kind! Thank you for that!!
Wishing you good health, great friends and Magical Love!
Wende Scroggins
As usual…what a wonderful way to start my day…Vanessa and her magick …ahhhhh…dropping a line in hope’s of “acquiring” the GORGEOUS earing’s generously offered by “Pink Dreamer”! Thank you for thinking of us!!! Anne
I too love Autumn….I have always loved the color orange. The very first time , when i was a child , that i was allowed to pick out the color of my bedroom walls, I was 9 years old. I still remember it clearly, it was a beautiful sunrise orange. I was so happy every time I entered my room.
It was spectacular!…and it was mine.
I’m a little jealous of your pumpkin patch. I planted pumpkins this year, but for some reason, by the time they reach golf ball size they drop off the vine…maybe next year I’ll have better luck.
Veeevalllaaaaaaa….
So sympatico. 🙂
Summer wraps me in its cocoon of warmth while i sit on the back porch and watch the leaves in the distance; the air shimmers under the blinding sun. I am dormant in the thick air, the sweat trickles down. Most days the dark coolness of the evening (HAH!) or the AC inside beckons…
EXCEPT. Oh. Magic. Summer rains. I must must must – if there isn’t any Lightning- STOMP. And twirl, and play. Summer rain is what brings me out of that cocoon, and reminds of the natural raw beauty of each season.
I’m not a beach person really-I think SomePinkFlowers is beachcomber enough for all of us! –but summer in Florida for me isn’t sun; its afternoon showers. And when the sun comes out, the world is fresh and clean and steamy, and the trees are ELECTRIC with drops of vibrating jewels!
But OH!!! The sight of a pumpkin and my heart beats faster!!! 🙂
Ahhh, thou mustn’t have ventured into a Hobby Lobby as of late because they have been putting out their Christmas things for many, many weeks now (and fall things, too)! I actually love seeing all the Christmas goodies early because it just gives me happy thoughts of the season to come.
Oh, I am so happy for you that you are getting so many pumpkins!
I always love a peek at your furry ones.
A giveaway all the way from Greece! How fun!!
I have to be honest. I don’t like the taste of pumpkin much but I do love the shapes and colors. Your photos are beautiful as always. Here’s some recognition for your accomplishments! I wanted to let you know that I’ve nominated you for two blog awards! http://www.thedomesticpagan.net/2012/08/iblog-awards.html
Pumpkins and furry love..
Well we are the other way around in Australia. Just about to pop our noses into spring! I love spring in the cooler climates but we live in a warm part of australia so we don’t notice it so much.
Oooh and I would love to be entered in your giveaway. My 6 year old daughter has just had her ears pierced and shes looking for all sorts of beautiful ear rings. Your little giveaway gems are gorgeous.
HMMM>>> Pumpkins in July ..not a bad idea since I’m already into creating little clay witches… Yes the seasons come and go so quickly, but I too will be closing my ‘ autumn’ eyes until September… I’m just preparing ( ha Ha) sort of squirrelling away the excitement until the the end of my lazy summer days and the midsummer heat…. Fabulous post , fabulous give away … and fabulous reading fun ..Thank You for sharing…. Hugs
But but but, VANESSA!!!! How do you keep your ginormous pumpkin leaves from mildewing??? I planted a zucchini and all my leaves are dusted with grey, but the zucchinis are about 3 feet long and we are dining on Frittata…yum!
OH, I just showed hubby the picture of your pumpkin patch and I saw pumpkin envy in his eyes “=O. Is it too late for me to plant mine? Would they poke their wee heads from the soil in time?? Or maybe I could visit your patch and take some home with me. Now that would be fun indeed!!
I Love you Vanessa with all your enchanted Elfin ways!!
just me 🙂
Oh! I just saw that Ruby Roo was here…yippee and yay!!!!!
Oh Coriloves, I dunno if it is too late for ya? I planted my seeds in
April :)))) xoxox

In a message dated 8/11/2012 8:56:00 P.M. US Mountain Standard Time,
My wee pumpkin patch is growing, growing but not nearly as far along as yours! Just the thought of pumpkins growing for the first time in my garden makes me hop around with glee! And thank you for the chance to win such lovely things!
Those pumpkins are amazing! What a delightful patch you’ve sown and nurtured, and it seems cool that it is surprising you as it nears harvest time.
Am I too late for the giveaway? The gorgeous rocks in that necklace remind me of one I just befriended. I was away visiting family (sadly, my hubby’s Dad has just passed away), and while we were there we visited a friend. He had an amazing little pink and black rock on his porch that called my name. So I proposed a trade: the rock for a butterfly wing that my daughter had just found on a hike. He agreed enthusiastically, and threw in 2 other pink and black rocks, saying that a butterfly wing was too valuable and rare for just one rock. So my daughter and sister-in-law each got a special rock, too.
Blessings to you!
Nikki aka Starcat
hello from Greece!!! nice to meet you!!i hope i will win one of this amazing jewels!!kind regards!!!
Your furry friends always make me smile :)))))) Love your pumpkin patch but I too am still enjoying summer! Love the sweet giveaway…please count me in !
Vanessa,
I love autumn and pumpkins a well….particularly the small wee ones. They are so adorable. Love your blog…it makes me happy, especially the handsome puppies. Hugs…Peggy
<3<3<3
Pumpkins and giveaway… so pretty! Thank you!
I love all of your adorable pumpkins, your garden is amazing. When I was young we used to pick our own pumpkins from the field next door. Living next to a pumpkin farm had some advantages. I too saw all of the fall and halloween stuff out at the craft store in July. I actually bought a cute little decorated bottle, it had a vintage witch and cat picture on it and I knew if I waited till October it would be gone. So it is now sitting on my bakers rack in the kitchen.

Hi Vanessa –
It’s been awhile since I’ve had a chance to visit your blog. Of course, as usual, I am blown away by your gorgeous pictures and descriptions of your very own, everyday magical surroundings. I feel transported whenever I am here. I live in the Northeast and I enjoy seeing what you are growing in your garden at different times of the year. So different than my willy-nilly garden. I think pumpkins will definitely be making an appearance next year. Thank you as always for the inspiration!
Vanessa, you’re an inspiring person. Keep doing what you love;)
Oh pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins!!!!! I love them ALL! Thank you for sharing all their orangey goodness!!!! 🙂 Truly made me smile. It is funny – my Willow loves her toys and always needs one nearby – whereas Neo doesn’t care so much for them – he prefers the cuddles of his mama or daddy. 🙂 Give your furries hugs from me. 🙂
Such a different and interesting hobby! As long as we live a happy and meaningful life, we also find beautiful meanings in everything we see and do.
Thumbs up!
Agree with Theresa. Pumpkins are truly interesting. It makes me feel good looking at these stuffs.
