Hellooo there.
I hope you are having the most magical scrumptious Halloween!
I ran over to the computer to say hello and share some pics.
Our Halloween feast is just about to arrive so I best type quickly.
I made the most beautiful candy apples today which really were a fluke.
I was missing enough corn syrup so I put in more sugar and didn't even really pay attention to measurements.
They are so glossy and crisp.
I used neon pink food coloring because I didn't have red and it worked out so nicely.
I dusted them in edible stars and then…
I spread the remaining candy on parchment paper to cool.
I sprinkled it with edible glitter and edible stars.
It's so beautiful in person, like stained glass.
Can't wait to break it up soon.
I'll take a pic, we might be onto something fun.
The candy tastes so much like cotton candy, it's incredible.
A tinge of that caramelized flavor, so nice.
I used apricot branches as the sticks for the apples.
Fun fun fun!
I love today.
Let the magic continueeeee!!
I post regularly on Instagram, videos and pics.
In case you want to peek in for some fun over there.

I love your ideas 🙂
I love how bright and colorful everything looks, and those apples are so so pretty!
Yay Halloween! We went out Saturday night and heard our favorite band (Tocamas Mas!) and Wolfboy dressed creepy (grim reaper with red glowing eyes!)and I dressed like a puppy and we danced and boogied and then went back home and from Saturday night until yesterday (Tuesday afternoon) I nonstopped halloweenied it up! I didn’t even leave the house until this morning (Wednesday) because I guess I am supposed to work and stuff today. 😉 IT WAS GLORIOUS! and Wolfboy was bad, bad, bad and kept bringing home more treats (he went out into the real world for us) — we have pumpkin pie peeps and pumpkin pie gelato and All. Of. The.Candy. All of it. Peanut butter M&MS, Reeses pieces and peanut butter cups, regular and peanut M&Ms and Rolos and Twix and Almond Joys and Snickers and Milky Ways and Kit Kats and candy corns and candy corn pumpkins and…and…all the other chocolates I don’t eat. 🙂 We were crazy with the sugar! We watched Rosemary’s Baby and It’s Alive and about a dozen Vincent Price movies and all of the Frankensteins and Draculas and Mummys and Rocky Horror Picture Show and old old movies I don’t even know the names of and Charlie Brown/Great Pumpkin oh oh and the original and remake of the House on Haunted Hill and the Haunting…and I love your décor because you evoked a feeling with that doll and painting and those little shoes….nice going! I realized that, as I watch old movies, I was less about the storyline and more about the houses and sets….The Haunting –Hill House? DREAMY Ohmigosh so dreamy with ornate wood carved beds and papered walls and fireplaces big enough to walk into and giant conservatories and fountains and spiral staircases and libraries….ohmigosh I just love the old old movie sets!!!Anyhoo…..
I’m glad you had a good time too! xoxoxviiixoxoroostah
PS. My cousin Terry informs me that Halloween midnight is the official beginning of Christmas!! She posted a live video of her ordering a starbucks gingerbread latte and was playing “its the most wonderful time of the year”, haha!
October in my area of the world went by too quickly. I’ve been preoccupied with dramatic things and change in my life, so I never truly had the moment to stop and simply enjoy the holiday and all of the Sp0oKy magic. I went out with a friend to a parade/street party event and got dressed up. We bar hopped with his friends and then went dancing at my club. It was fun but I was like a babysitter for four grown adults, since I was the driver and sober.Hahaha. It’s like that all the time, but that might be a good thing that keeps me out of too much trouble. Yes, there is such a thing. 😉
Drop by the two links below and you can see the pics. Although I posted them on Instagram and FB, but here they are in case you missed them in your friends feed. I’d love to have your feedback.

I used to pop in to your blog at least two or three times a week! What’s wrong with me? Eeek! It’s been three weeks since I have visited your garden fairy land full of ‘the birds and the bees, and the flowers and the trees, and a thing called love…(lyrics from a song in the late 1960’s!)That’s what your Halloween Fairy land is all about! The candied apples look so scrumptious! Life has been so full and there is not as much time for just ‘being’ and ‘doing’ what one likes to do.
Thank you for being here for us died-in-the-wool Fanciful Twist fans!
love you lots!
Miss Teresa
Happy Belated Halloween!
