Hi there!! What a busy weekend and Monday I had, phew!! Seems like this is going to be one whirlwind of a busy week too. I have tons of formal business to attend to in the real world so thank goodness for the balancing of it, with fun non-business, right here in our Magical world.
What would I do without you?
I have received everyone’s notice of Halloween Party participation so far. If you have any questions please do e-mail me. To answer lots of little friends, It is not too late to sign up, we have loads of time!! I am compiling the list, and will post it before the party, so everyone can check it, and make sure they are on if they want to be. Also, so you can correct me if I make any little errors 😉
I have been finishing up all the little creatures I started in July. Where does the time go? I also have a couple of Elfin Theaters that will be in this shop update. Like the one pictured above, that Little Ghostie is enjoying so much!!
I am going to pop all the creatures I will share today, in my shop at 5:00 p.m. (Arizona Time), Thursday October 2nd.
So, let me share what you will find on Thursday…
It seems the wee creatures are so smitten with the theaters, they have been bickering about who gets to perform next…
The theaters are about 5.5" x 5.5" and fit a couple lil’ guys perfectly… They have gold leaf and lots of paints and stains, and wooden embellishments… Some mica and sparkles too. All the perfect elements that make up a happy little theater…
Here is a full shot of the Striped Curtain Theater…
There are some little vintage leaves on wires hanging in the inside…
I am in love with these little theaters. They are so much fun to make!!
The second theater is called the Magical Cypress Grove Theater, in honor of where these guys come from…
Witches and Elfin alike, are having way too much fun doing little performances for us…
But, I think it is time for you to get to know them a little better. I am going to share them with you in alphabetical order, so my head doesn’t pop off of my body… The witches wanted to put a spell on me, so they could all go first… Alas, they understood, the whole alphabetical thing was easier…
So, here we go…
Meet "Andorra Casabianca de Mandragora."
These Wee Witches have attached hats, so they won’t fall off 😉 They run about 4 – 5.5 inches tall (because of the hat).
Next we have, "Augustine Sweetie Pie Freeman." Such a lil’ love muffin…
The next Elfin has fitted himself with some snazzy autumn color attire. Meet the charming, "Baltimore Pumpernickel."
How about a musically inclined Elfin pet??? Or a birdling sort? "Birdie Somerville" at your service…
Tweet Tweet 😉
And, one of the Little Ghostie guys. " Sir, "Byron Ghostly Star…"
Oh, goodness, the super cutie personality himself is next- "Caruso Pumpkinseed Byrnes."
He is fully attached to the pumpkin. So he won’t fall off 😉 While he poses, I here a little Ooooooooo, sound…
Who could it be? Must be "Charlotte Ghost Dance."
Something I forgot to tell you… You see, there has been a new group of wee creatures gone and moved into the Magical Elfin Cypress Grove… They are very nice, and a tad mischevious. They are in fact, hobgoblins…
Meet one of the first hobgoblins in the land… The lovely tempered "Chopin von Clausewitz."
I think perhaps, based on his name, he plays the piano, gives gifts of cheer like Santa and is a bit witty… What do you think?
Why don’t we ask little witch "Darling Mildred Mignon" what she thinks? Boy, she sure has a way with blue birds 😉
That Mildred, she is quite the character 😉
And, if you are looking for hearty chuckles, make sure you have a visit with Mr. "Edwin Fritz Greenaway."
He is such a great listener and always has a batch of his famous Magical Cypress Grove doughnuts cooking up!!
Now, I have to tell you about this other little character. Such a precious sweetie love. I can’t even tell you… You have to look at his face and see it for yourself 😉
"Elvin Hyde Kemble Dollhawse."
Oh, and one of my faves for the Halloween spirit is next on the list… "Ghibeline Ghost…"
Ghosties with pumpkins, make me happpppyyyy….
Leave it to the Barrymore’s to be all sweet as berry pie!! Please say hello to "Humphrey Barrymore." Makes me giggly happy!!
Sometimes, while you stroll through the Magical Cypress Grove, you might think you catch a fluffly glimpse of someone… But then, you might think your mind is just playing games on you? Well, there is a huge chance, it isn’t your mind playing games… There is a chance this lil’ guy happened to hippity hop past you at lightning speed…
"Jasper Humperdinck"
Wait, did you hear a meooooow???
Oh, it must be the adorable "Machiavelli Mousequetaire…"
Meowsers for sure!! 😉
Cackle Cackle, Miss "Mathilda Mavis Calvert" is making an appearance…
Her and her cutie Kitty are ready for Halloweeeeeen 😉
Oh that reminds me… If you need a costume, make sure you contact the sweetest little frock maker in the Elfin land… "McNarney Lovelace"
With a peachy disposition!!
I did say there were a couple of hobgoblins in the land, right? Well, here is a truly magical singing hobgoblin! I think she should join the hobgoblin opera!!
"Millicent Swanboat"
By the way, did you say you needed a dessert whipped up for some occassion??
You must enlist the sweet help of, "Mitzi de Moussette." Yummmy 😉
While I am super busy in the real yucky world this week, I think I am going to leave "Simon von Humboldt" in charge. He has such a solid head on his shoulders 😉
What do you think? He looks like he can be trusted completely, doesn’t he?? hee heeeee…
Did I ever tell you about the Sweet Potato song? Well, you will have to ask the Elfin pet all about it. It is of course, about him…
"Singer Sweet Potato Cellini"
Boy, oh boy… I am getting hungry for some kind of gourmet concoction. Between Sweet Cakes, and Mousse… And, now this precious one… Treats are calling…
"Spyri Gerhardsen Souffle"
You know who is keeping me company while I upload all these photos? One of the keeper’s of the baby Cypress trees… Yep, you guessed it, "Sweet Pea de Chambord…"
And now, for a few more witches. Before this little witch collapses in dreamland…
The Spellbook keeper!! "Theodora Olive Cooke" to serve all of your spell-binding needs 😉
And the sweet little witch, tending the wee pumpkin garden this year. "Ursula Antonius Beaconsfield…"
And her pumpkin carving Witchy Poo friend, the ever fashionable little witch, "Wilhelmina Winifred Broglie…"
Love her striped sleeves!! 😉
So, there you have it. All of these creatures, will be in the shop on Thursday Oct. 2nd at 5 p.m. Hope to see a few of you there. Wish me luck, while I venture into the real world for a couple of days!! Eeeek!!
🖤, V
ps: It is not too late to sign up for the Halloween Blog Party at all. I know several people have asked that… Not too late at alllll!!! Yippeee! 🖤

Then I come here and has to struggle not to drown in ideas 🙂
Thank you.

Where, pray tell is Ghibeline Ghost and Jasper Humperdinck? It is 10:23 p.m. in Texas and I cannot find either listed in your shop??? Ha Will check tomorrow.
Kris
Those are just the most adorable creatures! I love their names.
Silly me- I thought these little ones were ALREADY on stage, you being a “stage mother”, and all!!! I’ll just hang out at the stage door hoping to catch a glimpse of the director, that’s you right??
D.
I love all of them of course. Being late as usual there are no elfin left in the shop whatsoever!!!
Will you do some Christmas elfin and Christmas witches? I think the witches would look lovely with green and red polkadots on their hats and mini trees in their hands! Mini mistletoe!!!

Can’t wait for the Halloween party!
Today, we decorate the spa!!!

Hi Vanessa,
I had some troubles with my tricycle, so it took a while before I got over here 🙂
WOW, you’ve been busy creating : all those different creatures and where do you come up with all those names ? I think you ‘re a child that has never grown up… and that is a compliment !!!

Inge
WOW! I am so impressed with your new pieces – they are all way too cute for words! And I love their little theatre.
We must be art twins, because I just painted up some of those little wooden architectural plaques from Michaels – same shape as one of the ones in your theatre! Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they were cut from the same tree… 😉
I will post a pic on my blog when the piece is done so you can see what I did with them!
P.S. Ruby Roo has decided on her Halloween costume…..
Hum Boldt is my favourite, bit it was a difficult choice. i think he even beat the ghosties in the end!
i want a giant terrarium full of these, such beautiful colours, too!
now all of this is very halloweenish. you sure know how to herald the season’s festivities! xxx
Wowee zowee!
Please give my love to Elvin Hyde Kemble Dollhawse. Love and kisses!
They are a charming bunch, you have been enjoying yourself 😀
