How can it possibly be time?
Time speeds in circles and here were are wishing warmest holiday wishes again.
I wish you the warmest holiday season ever.
My decor was light and bright this year, with a very bauble tossed effect.
Baubles everywhere.
With a mermaid keeping watch on midnight sugar plum fairies.
My tree, oh my tree.
A very curious specimen this year indeed.
But why?
Welllll…
I used my hat stand 🙂
It just struck my fancy, so that's what I did.
I just love how light and fresh it feels in the dining room.
Instead of stringing lights, I used the places where hats go for candles.
It's a curious little arrangement but it makes me happy.
It might have to stay a tree forever.
I've had it for over 10 years, and wanted to do something as such.
But I always forget.
This was finally the year of the hat stand Christmas tree.
There is one nook in my house that hosts more traditional colors.
I was gifted a large nativity by my parents, so I tucked fresh eucalyptus and berries in from the garden.
So sweet.
The rest of the house is candy colored as can be.
And now, it's time for me to pack.
To get all my gifts in the car.
I'm going on a little road trip on my own, eeks!
Then returning promptly in a couple days for a little get together back at my house.
I'll be running around like a mad woman.
Which, seems to be just the slot destiny wants to keep me in, haha!
Thank you for all the fun this year.
May you have a safe and warm Christmas.
Lots of love!!
Happy Christmas my friends!
Looooove, Vanessa

I’m totally digging that tree! So creative and fun!
Thank you oooodles!!
A very interesting Christmas tree indeed! You could keep it up & decorate it for all the different holidays coming up.
I love your nativity! I have my parent’s nativity from when I was a kid. It’s the first thing I put out! This way, no matter what happens, like getting sick this year, I’m guaranteed that at least my nativity will be out! It’s the most important thing for me to have on display.
I’m sitting & watching the weather for tomorrow. One model says no snow, another 2 inches & another says 7 inches! I guess they’ll know more tomorrow. It depends on how & where the temps. drop. It was sunny (for the first time this month) and 50 today!
Merry Christmas to you & your family!
You are sooo creative! Christmas blessings!!!
Merry Christmas, Curiosa! I LOVE the chalk nativity set…where on earth did you find that?!
Please travel safely and take lots of photos for us!
its very very old, had it for about 15 or more years, got it at a religious
antique store. I may just instagram 😉

Happy Christmas to you and yours Vanessa! Love the hatstand tree! xx
Love the hat stand and the mantle with the color oh so delightful.
Last year I decorated and old circular shop display rack and loved
the effect of sparkly balls there. Every once in the while we just
have shake it up a bit and I love the way you do it.
Happy Christmas to you, too, Vanessa! I love the hatstand tree and all your decorations.
Blessings,
Victoria
Merry Christmas! What a fabulous tree hehe or hat stand, beautiful colours!
Now you have me wanting to find a hat stand. It is gorgeous!
Merry christmas!
How pretty your house looks, Dearest Dear Vanessa! I love non-traditional Christmas decorations and so I really love your hat-stand!! As it turned out, both Mr. V and I had strings of red and green chili pepper lights and I had some little cactus lights. I asked him to decorate the house before we had a guest last weekend and so he did! He put the electric candles in each window, as is traditional here in New England and then he decorated the diningroom with the pepper and cactus lights! I love it and told him it looked like a Christmas Cantina!
I hope that you, Mr. Lovey, Matty and Miles are having a beautiful day!
Sending you hugs from both of us,
Betty
And a beautiful, magical Christmas to you, dear Vanessa! Thank you for bringing joy and inspiration to our world!
Much love…

Happy Christmas Vanessa!
I love it all Ms Vanessa. Hope you and your family have many happy days ahead. Everything looks so new, I love all the sparkle.
Merry Christmas!!! Your tree is lovely! The good things is that you don’t have to sweep up falling nails.
Your Nativity scene is glorious! And how charming and magical to use the hat tree to decorate it! I tend to agree, I think I would leave it up all year too!
My sis and family from Minn. are traveling through Ariz. as I type this, on their way to the backside Mts. of California to see her husband’s aging parents.
How nice for you to have some time to yourself, getting away for a bit.
Have a happy rest of the Holiday Season!
love and hugs,
Miss Teresa

Said the ‘Eve’ to the ‘Eve before Eve’ once more:
“It’s the moment by moment, the real before.”
“In peering backwards turn and take a jump”
“Slightly forward moving now, ta-dump.”
There, there is where the ball will drop,
All wishes ignite in the fire dancers pop.
My hat on to such a surprise,
Jingles of bracelets give rise.
Across the rollin winds to you,
Sweet soft dancing shoes, dancing right across the skies into infinite dreams of a New Year Blessing for YOU.
thank you sweet v v for sharing your gracious love and talents with us all xo pinksterita 2G
