So you say you want a Halloween Blog Party? Well, you don't have to twist my arm on that one. Let's do it!! Say, Saturday October 18th? (flyer and button at end of post, plus flyer update for blogs that do not have a white background)
Come one, come all!!! A party where anything goes!! Sparkles, candy, costumes, cupcakes, haunted tea-time, goblin children, pets playing dress-up, crafts, pictures, decorations, ideas, confetti, ghost stories, dancing around the cauldron, flying across the moon, striped socks, pointy shoes, capes, forest creatures, witches, gnomes, queens, sorcerers, wizards, warlocks, glitter, Art! Or plain old pj's and spooky (or non spooky) movies!! Anything, anything, anything goes.
As you may know, all you have to do is, have a little Halloween inspired event on your blog the day of the party, link to me, and I'll link to you. If you are joining the party let me know in comments or by e-mail. Make sure you let me know that you will be participating, and leave me your correct blog address so I can add you with correct info…
I will then make a special place in my sidebar a couple days before the party, with a list of everyone participating, and we can visit eachother's blogs on the day of the party.
You can share anything Halloween related that you want on your blog for the party. So, you are basically having your own little party on your bloglette, and we are all dancing and munching in creative blog bliss….

I wanted to make it mid month, so we can get ideas from eachother for Halloween itself, and so we can get in the mood and have a little magical fun..
We have almost a month to prepare ;) It will be fun fun fun!! Remember how much fun the Mad Tea Party was?
Only this will be of the Haunted House variety… Did someone say, caramel & candy apples?

Is it just me, or are the clouds trying to tell me something? I took this under this week's full moon. Is that the side profile of a witch, and her hand stirring something up??
I don't know about you, but when witches start appearing in clouds, I know it is time to plan a Halloween party 😉
I am getting into the mood in a major way…
I was at Walgreens, which I have to say, always fulfills all of my desires. I can spend hours in Walgreens, I tell ya… Anyhow, I am going up and down the aisles, and I get to the magazines and see this book.
All I can say is, I LOVE Matthew Mead!! This book has so many fabulous fun ideas. It is a treasure trove of inspiration. From sewing to baking to felting to drawing to decorating and clock making & more!!
It is simply packed full of creative things to make and bake and do for Halloween…
So, there you have it. Plenty of time to prepare for our Halloween Extravaganza. You have almost one month, so, be there or be…

Fanciful, I won’t be able to get to a computer that day but wanted to say thanks for the lovely invite. Halloween is my fave time of year. I have an idea to share: Take some striped socks, (like the ones in your picture) and stuff them with newspaper. Add a pair of high heels and stick them out of the sofa. (Couch in american spea!) Ala Wizard of Oz!

I am there with you at the party! I am not into the scary stuff of it but I enjoy the magical, cutesy type of Halloween things. I am a big chicken and will have nightmares for weeks if I watch a scary movie. The scariest I get is Hocus Pocus movie that you have the clip from. It is funny you show that my 2 youngest daughters said I was her due to I love to sing and I am funny. No I don’t have those teeth!

Oh how fun! I just told Roo about the big party, and she can’t wait!! She is going to rack her little puppy brain to figure out what to be this year. I love making her costumes! She is two, so she has enjoyed two Halloweens… The first year, she was a butterfly, and the second year, she was a little french whore – HA! I made the costume out of a thrifted child’s jazz recital leotard. We will post photos of her awesome outfits on my blog on the party day. 🙂

Although I cannot join in the fun (I already have plans with some friends plus a cat about to give birth), I wanted to say that your items are the quirky’est, cute’est, most adorable lil ones I’ve ever seen.
I enjoyed the Hocus Pocus song at the end. My family loves that movie! We even named our black cat Binx (Bianca Bedazzle).
