Lovely dear friends, fancy meeting you here!

I am deliriously happy to welcome you to our new little blog nook. An unexpected new beginning 19 years into blogging has turned into a wonderful thing. We have worked tirelessly to create this new space that would provide a wonderful viewing experience just for you.

I wanted it to be light and lovely, but charming and easy to use as well. I truly have set out on this labor of love to build this new blog with you in mind. I just couldn’t fathom letting it all go. I am so excited for the new journey of A Fanciful Twist, with so many tales and fun things to share with you.

Please explore our new site, where there are archives and categories and everything saved from the old blog that were beloved. The view will be different on the mobile version versus the computer version, with a few more bells and whistles on the computer version. But we tried to include everything for everyone, no matter how you view A Fanciful Twist.

Today I wanted to simply welcome you here, invite you for cup of your favorite tea (or coffee), and stroll through the garden arm in arm…

With your favorite hairbow flowing in the breeze.

Just in time for a pink cake, made just for you.

Served under golden sunlight…

On this very festive day, with my heart full and so delighted that you are here.

Pick as many flowers as you would like…

And stay for a twirl or two in the invigorating sun rays.

The butterflies are busy on the cosmos…

As the bees swirl about.

Joyfully busy collecting pollen in our secret garden.

So grab your little teacup and let’s venture through the blog.

Peeking in here and there to see what we might see.

Through the arbor, past zinnias and pumpkin vines…

And into our neck of the woods.

In our joyful and fanciful secret meeting space.

I hear the Mad Hatter has been tossing confetti all day for the occasion.

I am so beyond giddy to be here in this new blog home.

I hope you enjoy it to the fullest and can share any feedback you might have.

It has been a two-month labor of love to build this site. I thank Shelby at Tamed Jackalope for her endless hours of working to save every morsel from the old blog before Typepad (previous blog provider) goes under. We had late night chats, and all-day chats, making sure everything looked as I envisioned and that everything worked correctly and nothing was missing. She then built the whole thing out for me to a perfect customization. Bringing all the photos over to integrate into the blog posts was probably her biggest nightmare, and yet she did it with a smile on her face.

So, here we are, hooray! I can’t wait to hear what you think after you’ve had a chance to explore the blog a little.

If you are viewing on a phone, I’d love for you to get a chance to look on a computer and have the full new blog experience. Although we worked really hard to translate it the best that we could to the mobile version.

I can not wait for my next blog post and all the fun things I want to share with you on our new blog. I never thought I would lose my blog 19 years in, but in the end, I am delighted that I was pushed into the direction of having to rebuild, no matter how stressful that was. The loss has led to a wonderful gain of another chance and more adventures with you.

I hope you are as delighted as I am, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support and encouragement.
