Her and I both have this tea set and love it, so we decided what better gift than to give one away?

Add a little fun to an everyday.

The tea set is actually 15 pieces including the tea cup saucers.

The Laduree book is incredible and the tea smells unreal!

What could be more fun that having a tea party delivered right to your door?

I have the set in aqua and Jennifer has it in blue so we decided to let the winner pick their choice of color.

Tea time is such a wonderful daily joy.

Or coffee time if you prefer, as it can be used for either really.

It’s a lovely giveaway and I’ve entered. My favorite tea is peach passion followed closely with raspberry zinger. I’m mostly a fruit tea girl. 🙂

pps…I’ve been thinking about you all day. My mushroom is up on my worktable for repairs (tears here and there from moving houses 3 times) and I’m remembering how much fun it was to follow your tutorial to make it. xoxo

We drink our tea cold to stave off some of the ridiculous humidity we have going on 🙂 but somehow hot coffee is always a treat! Did i tell you about my great great grandmother Lanie? We would visit her during summertime when i was little and her house was full of antiques and antics and big porches (that clawfoot tub was the best!) OH and the mysterious neighbor that we kids called Boo Radley because who else would be lurking behind curtains never to be seen during summertime when the living is easy? She had geraniums galore, tons of ’em, and i thought i was the height of grown up girl when i could take my dainty cup and saucer of coffee (mostly milk with a splash of coffee but they humored me) outside to sip my coffee like a proper lady in the fancy rattan wicker peacock chair surrounded by geraniums! And! She taught me it was ok to spill a little into the saucer, and sip it from there, because it cooled that way…but only when it wasn’t high tea, no no no only in your own parlor!!! 🙂

That is a beautiful tea set! I also love the arrangement of plates on the wall. For a brief time in my early childhood my longsuffering mother would bring my sister and I what she called “coffee milk” in her demitasse cups to our beds to coax us to wake up. That outrageous spoilage did not last long, but her efforts at getting us to eat breakfast continued a while with her making little hors’odeurves out of toast squares, scrambled egg and small piece of bacon and leaving them on a warming plate. I mean …!!! One of the most genteel times that I recall is visiting a high school friend’s mother one afternoon and her serving sherry in beautiful tiny glasses.
I love HT’s Hot Cinnamon Sunset tea, but also Earl Grey. Only iced tea right now thought because I am hot enough in Tucson.

I echo Deb above. I don’t have Instagram either.
What a beautiful and generous gift.
I took tea at Laduree in Paris years ago. It was lovely.
My favorite tea is Stardust. It is sold through the East Indies Tea Company in Pennsylvania.
For a book to read, I would choose Persuasion by Jane Austen.
Thank you for continuing to blog during these challenging times. I am grateful for the normalcy you provide.
