Mad Tea Party 2009 {A Question} + Other Lil’ Tid-bits

For four nights, while floating through dreamland, the same wonderful Mad Tea Party thought came to me.  But, it requires your help…

Mad Tea Party 29

Were you at the Mad Tea Party this year?  If so, I need a little favor, pretty please, with cherries on top?  What I need from you is your direct link to your Mad Tea Party 2009 post

Mad Tea Party 10

I want to create a spot on my blog, with all your links to your Mad Tea Party Blog Posts.  Of course, I have all the links to your blogs, but not to the parties specifically.

Mad Tea Party 21

Please leave your link to your party blog post, right here in comments, so I can have them in one place.  If you have any issues with that, you can of course, e-mail it to me ;)  I will then get started building a special page just for your party post links.

I will leave the first comment below, in this post, with an example of what I am asking for.

Mad Tea Party 19

I was going to start visiting everyone who attended and searching for the Mad Tea Party posts in your blogs myself.  But after 3, I realized it would take me an enormous amount of time to do so. Like, an eternity… (wonderfully, there were almost 300 of you who participated, which is why I need your help)

Mad Tea Party 49

So, I am asking you for this wee favor.  That way, people can visit your links directly to the party, throughout the year.  Wouldn't that be marvelous?  We think so, and we thank you in advance, kindly 😉

Mad Tea Party 43

Sooooooo, that's the question/favor.  I can't wait to build a special Mad Tea Party Victorian Mansion {of the imaginary variety} to house all your party links…

In other news.

It has been cloudy.  Yummy, cloudy perfection.  I long for cloudy days in this sun laden place.  A perfect day to roam around my boudoir, tidying up…

Rain day 1

A moment for sitting in my chair, which is so cozy and perfect for day-dreaming…

Rainy day 2

The truth is, I can't show you the other side of my boudoir today 🙂

It looks like it was in an earthquake.  I truly don't know how it happened.  Probably because I am like a little creature, bringing things from the city house to the country and vice-versa.  Never ending back and forth.  My Mom wanted me to send a picture of the crazed room to her phone.  She thought I was exaggerating.

After she saw it she said, "My love, what happened??? If my room looked like that, I would be forced to just go to bed."

HAHA!  She is so funny.  Mind you, she would never go to bed until it was sparkling clean.

I had a tea party while tidying up, so it looks 100 times better.  And maybe one day, it can have its photograph taken again…

For now, a little more of this is in store before I get to work today…

Rainy day 3

I am hoping the clouds stay a little longer…

As for my little giveaway ~ two names plucked from the hat look like (wave the wand), PRESTO CHange-o…

Rainy day 7

Miss Pattie and Miss Gillian!!  Yipeeee Yay!  (please send me your addresses you lovelies!)

Now, I must thank you for being so truly kind to me.  My new camera (after speaking to 13 people at Sony) is on its way to UPS to make a journey to the camera doctor.  Dealing with Sony, not fun.  But, hopefully my gal will be working soon.  I think the shutter is getting stuck, personally…

I have been using my other Sony, that has been cleaned and serviced, and did okay with the last 4 photos above, me thinks ;)

So, blogging ensues!  😉 😉

Do have a spot of tea and a wee chat with us before you boogie on outta here…

Rainy day 4a

Oh and, please don't forget to leave me your link to your Mad Tea Party Post, thanks oodles! xoxo

🖤,V

  6. Carl V. says:

The Mad Tea Party idea was so fun. I’m so glad Brandi Milne posted about it, which is how I discovered you. Hopefully next year I’ll be able to promote and participate as well. I sure enjoyed visiting others’ sites and can’t wait until you have the full list up with direct links so that I can check them all out.
The main reason I wanted to comment, however, was to just let you know how much I covet your red chair. If it suddenly goes missing, please do not come looking for it in Kansas City. I’m sure I will no absolutely nothing about its whereabouts! 😉

  7. My link….
