Now, this post has no focus. However, I was missing you all. Just under two more weeks and I will be back to Bloglandia. I have been creating away, as you well know and are probably totally sick of hearing… Last night at midnight I had a little visitor. Tugging at my white cotton nightdress, whispering in my ear, "Come and find me if you can…" So, I did….
The Enchanted Hiding Tree…
Hiding in a little tree trunk, escaping from her daily chores. I wish you could see the print in person. Anyhow, she is in my shop…
I have also been very sneaky, adding postcard sets to my shop as well. I am so delighted with the results. I have had them for about 2 weeks, but I am slow in sharing. I also designed the back sides, with graphics that I created. They are a little gift in themselves. (click on any photo to enlarge)
There is also a Thank You Postcard set and some other treats… Take a peek if you get a little chance.
I did get all my little giveaway treats into the post office last week. People got them in just 1.5 days. It was wild. I don’t know if my Candian girls got them yet?? But, I feel it is safe enough to share… Each winner received 2 packages. One with tricks and one with treats…
Some of the tricks included non-edible super tricky cakes. I am so tricky… hee heee….
Into the padded mailer they went, and Presto, the wait for the reactions…
Miss MarmeeCraft blogged about her parcel of goodies from me, and I have to say, her photos are incredible. Her cake really does look real. And the photo with the cat… Maybe I can sneak it over here…. Off to sneak the photo, but you must see them all! Okay, I got it!!! Can you believe her photo of her darling puss Marmee, and the cake??? That is contest quality!!!
What I intend to do in the next couple of days is get the gallery all spruced up… It is a bit of a wreck, does that surprise you?? Hahaha.
Funny enough, in the midst of sheer madness, I find myself wanting to cozy up…
And just draw…
You know, I still can’t bring myself to paint this work bench. Is it silly that it has sentimental value to me in its raw state? Mr. Lovve made it, using two really lovely pieces of natural wood and one piece of white… And there is just something in me that feels like I will cover up his little aura lingering in the wood, if I paint. Have I totally lost it??
Haste Luego, for now! My berry crisp is ready!

That new print is wonderful. I hope you’ll keep it in the shop for a bit, because I am going to have to buy it at some point.
A fake cake? Oh you tease!!!! I love your postcards, they came out gorgeous! And the Hiding tree!!! Love love love!
Oh, I LOVE this drawing!

Marmee is quite pleased at her new found internet stardom! She’s purrrring away!:) Your new print is amazingly loverly….I love the pale colours!! Happy Painting to you! And Thanks again for the magic mail!!
The drawing is wonderful – she looks like you! The postcards are a very clever idea. And those tricks and treats – what lucky winners! Good luck cleaning the studio (better that than my cave). 🙂 xoxox
I’m on to you you little sneak!
Hey that girl in the tree has some really soft gentle eyes…who is she?
You mean when I ordered those cards I was on the cutting edge of what is new and fanciful??? Cool.
the enchanted….-just want to say I am mesmerized!
maybe your desk is just good how it is? Love all the beautiful new creations!!!
What a sweet girl…I wonder if there is any more room in that trunk for me? It’s been a bit weird up my way…but, almost impossible to put a finger on why…no matter…it will all even out again soon I’m sure…the studio looks delightful (as always)
Love the new print… headed over now to see the postcard sets!
OMG! You know your two silver trees? I have one right by my bed and all my friends refer to it as Teresa’s Jewel Tree. It is laden with gems and fun things to wear. So very fun to see the same thing on your site! Love the postcards!
You have been so busy!!! The postcards are gorgeous, the drawing is beautiful…and I am salivating…I haven’t received my package yet (so didn’t look or read closely about what you shared!!)…I will be hanging by the front door the rest of the week waiting for my mailman!!!!
You are Funness personified!
and You are a delightful ONE.
That’s why I like you so much!
I’m taking a well earned break from working on correcting my disorderly conduct. Thought I’d stop in to see what you were up to…quite a lot from what I see. More spinning of your spectacular magic in to all things golden….love the postcards and the Hiding Tree.
I understand about not wanting to paint the table. It’s splendid in its naturalness and holds true to the very surface Mr.Lovee worked on! I get it!
I think it’s about time for tea, shall we both take a break together and chat over a cup?
XOXOXOXOXO
Loves and hugs,
Lisa

Hi Vanessa! Don’t say that we have enough of reading that you are so busy, if I would have enough, I wouldn’t come and visit. Since that is not the case, it does mean that I still love it :)! Now come to think of it, I’m just wondering, I’m really slow with these kind of things, but why are you so busy? Are you preparing and making art for an exposition? I’m sorry that I’m asking it only now… Maybe I didn’t read your posts closely enough or something, but I’m curious right now. I love your new drawing! And I’m over the moon of your cards! If I may ask, how did you make those decorations on the back? I love them! Did you draw them yourself???? Have a nice day Vanessa, xxxxxx

Geeesshh… I’ve fallen behind! I haven’t been over for..hmm… a week or so. What in the world happened?! You have a new cat, you still haven’t painted the bench, You’re witch is pretty (I know, I’m not supposed to say that but, she is!) and you’ve been working hard, I see. I love coming over here. It’s always so interesting! Have a wonderful weekend. Blessings… POlly (p.s. did that ugly doll make it to you yet?)
I have this problem,I get over here to comment and then forget half of what I want to comment about. First, love the hiding tree girl, her face–so lovely and a little different. I am so excited about the postcards! Um, oh yeah missmarmee’s cat pic so cool! And I think you are doing amazing to be posting as much as you are with all you have coming up! Thanks for the b-day wishes, my blog friends are making up for my lack of real life ones here in ca! Enjoy your berry concoction!
Oh, how scrumptdelicious that cake looks…i wish i could reach into my computer and eat it up…gobble gobble, like the pastry piggie i am!!! And kitty is sweet too!!
What lovely paintings you have in your shop!
I love the unfinished look of Mr. Lovee’s table.
Sounds like you have been very busy! The drawing is really sweet. When I’ve got madness going on around me all I want to do is draw too, so I know the feeling. I did a lot of drawing this past week because I was supposed to be studying for an exam, haha!
I saw that photo by marmee on her blog and thought it was adorable. Can’t get much cuter than that!
Good luck with cleaning up the gallery. 🙂
That was so hard to do – I had to scroll through this post without looking because I haven’t gotten my parcel yet – I want it to be a surprise!!
Loved your drawing though – and the postcards are divine btw!
Hello dear,
The new drawing is just too sweet for words. I get her, I really could use a trip to the woods to escape the daily chores.
I hope all the creating is going well. The photos from your last post were excellent… perfectly, beautifully organized chaos. The best kind. And no, you haven’t lost it. Those things with sentimental value are the MOST valuable.
xoxo

Found your site from Sage and Thyme. Wanted to see what Sherry found on her doorstep! How fun your studio looks. And the detail in the background of the Siren Sojourn postcard…the little dots in rows. Makes me want to pull out my box of paints again.
