How do you tell your very enthusiatic 2 year old, almost 3, that it’s not Halloween?
Even if he is a dog.
Dogs have feelings too, ya know.
Miles, it’s not Halloween yet.
He’s confused seeing pumpkins all over the garden me thinks.
What did you say mama?
I said, it’s not Halloween yet.
There are still 74 days until Halloween.
Oh nooooooooooo!!!
(Note little Matty in the background saying, see, told you so)
Slow guttural noises ensue such as…
Mmmmeeer, mrrrrreeear, mreeeeeee, mrmmph -heee, mmmrm, mmmrm, mmmrm.
Whining if you will, but in a very Miley way.
Then, the sulk.
It’s okay Miley.
If you want, we can all pretend it’s Halloween.
Then, the look.
Now what am I supposed to do with that look?
Hahahaaaa!
Well, he would be 14-16 if he were human right?
Oh, yes, then it’s “the” look.
Teenagers, I tell ya.
Of course we can’t “pretend” it’s Halloween.
Silly me.
Hahahaa!
ps: The skies have been filled with passion the last few days.
Lightning, thunder, clouds and colors.
Nope, no rain.
Yet.
Still wishing though.
Those skies surely make up for it.

Methinks Miss Vanessala wants it to be Halloween as much as Mr. Miles does. Yep, that’s what methinks. ; )

Beautiful sky, Vanessa!! Hubby and I just came back from Victoria BC and I saw a meteor fly right over my wee little head…amazing and it makes you feel so small in the universe, but that’s ok because small is always a good thing!

But I make sure to make special me and Matty time too, as he is a finicky and ornery one who needs extra alone time 😉

Miles is sooooo adorable! I would be putty in his paws. We’re still hoping for rain over here in the So. California mountains, but haven’t gotten but a few drips and drops. I hope you get some more rain soon!

Tonight he went in my bed, and not on his side with his own sheet for bed
protection – and it had sprinkled and he was filthy –
Mud and dirt everywhere.
I had to strip my whole white cozy bed and rewash. In fact, I am
waiting for it all to dry. And I vacuumed etc.
And you know what? I love him so, I am not angry in the least, or
annoyed or upset 🙂
Now thats love, aint it?
ps: I can not believe you have not had any rain in your super high
elevation, I think I am at about 3122 or so, must check that again. We got
some big sprinkles, but only enough to make 104 feel perfectly sauna like
