Hello Valentine Week! {Bake Sew Sweet}

I bet you didn't know I was making you a treat this weekend, did ya?  I couldn't help myself.  I have Valentine of the brain so I made you a brand new set of Valentines with a Bake Sew Sweet theme.

All you have to do is~

Valentine Week 4

Easy as pie…

Valentine Week 2

As I shared a few years ago, my yearly Valentine's celebrations are about self love and doing fun girlie things for myself.

For me personally, Valentine's day it's not just about two people submerged in lovebird day.  I see it more as, LOVE yourself time.  And if there is romance, that is just extra icing, on your already over frosted cupcake 😉

So, I am starting my week with my nails painted red, and preparations for my yearly Valentine cookies in action (which I have been making every year for 9 years).  Although, with the creations on my to do list, I am sure my red nail polish will last all of one day, haha!

Valentine Week 7

And, while several cake heads bake and paint dries, I am going to make a little something for a special little lady…

Valentine Week 6

Lovely little day, I tell ya.  Nevermind that all my flowers are clashing ;)

Valentine Week 5

Oops, clay is ready, must run for now!

Oh and, not to be redundant, but the Fungi Valentine's are still available along with all the other free treats in the Free Treats section in my right hand sidebar.

See you super duper soon!!

ps:  I forgot how much I enjoyed this little tune, which I listened to alot this weekend, after not listening for ages.  Delightful!

pss:  Nail Polish is from Walgreens.  Best inexpensive nail polish ever (doesn't need clear glass polish over it at all)!  Sinful Colors brand, in Ruby Ruby #369

  1. Laura says:

That nail polish is the PERFECT red. Just perfect. Pure dee RED. What color/brand is it????
Also, I’m coveting those floral tights. They’re so ‘1950s drapes’, you know? My grandmother had these amazing but totally overwhelming rose printed curtains in her living room. They made you kind of dizzy.

  2. Laura says:

    AND—
Mushaboom is such a sweet, happy little song. I sing is to Miss Baby all the time. It was my ‘preBaby dream song’. It throws me back to those single days of working crazy long hours and pining for a simpler, more domestic cozy life in some little woodsy cottage. And now I’m here!!!!!! And thrilled fit to burst.
I went through a big Feist fest a while back, then withdrew. Thanks for reminding me. I love her happy silly dancing.

  3. karin says:

oh no! my printer keeps jamming while I am printing the new Valentines! I guess the printer is just over excited about the new art its lost its mind.
    I will be patient…..hopefully.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you Miss Vanessa.
    xoxo

No, it’s YOU who are so sweet! I love them all! Thank you ever so much **kisskiss** I love those flowered tights with exactly those shoes! Fantastico! What a lucky little lady who will be getting your crocheted sweetness. When I was about to birth Alice, my sisterfriend, who did not knit, MADE her sister crochet a pink blanket over the weekend for me to bring my baby girl home in. Talk about pressure! I agree with the self-love for Valentines. Even us girlie girls in our dotage still love to get all foofy. Foofy. It’s a good thing. **blows kisses** Deb

  30. Maria says:

Okay, I think they are so cute! I printed them out! My little girl and I are going to cut them add ribbons and hang them like decorations. 🙂 I will take pictures and link you. Also the wish ticket is so cute! I adore your photos.
