On the heels of a scrumptious Halloween bash…
We slip into a proper all hallow’s eve.
With a fresh Punkinhead.
Such wonderful parties had by all.
I had the bestest time, and hope you did as well?
I am thoroughly zombified, from here to there.
Although a party so grand leaves one feeling longing for more.
Nothing a fantastical parcel the mail woman can’t fix.
Oh oh, look at he!
It’s him, oh him!
He’s been sent to me!
Spied on Pinterest here, and chatted about him to Mombie.
She called Missouri, to where he was living at Robin’s Vintage Suitcase.
And surprisssseeee!!
Amongst endless autumn cosmos…
And fluttering orange and black butterflies…
Appeared he!
A gift indeedy!!
Mister Pumpkinhead??!!
Oh how I LOVE theeee!
He is perfection and fits right in, doesn’t he?
So tall and dapper, oh my oh me!
He inspired us all to get gussied up.
Painting white teeth black, oh yes of course.
Masks and sparkles galore!
Everyone is ready for their favorite evening.
Harry and David treats too.
Gingerbread cookies and shortbread as well.
Beeeeeware!
The bees are after all the left over treats.
Greedy little rascals!
Such sweet teeth they have, hee hee!

Toads are begging to be set free.
In search of a kiss from you or me.
I am hugging pumpkins as much as can be.
And picking marigolds who turn up just as the clock hits that 3.
And 1 too.
The sun is just setting, the flowers they know.
It’s time for frolic and mayhem.
Mascara and glitter, here I go.
A witch is what I am, every year you see.
So, we wait for Mister Lovee to get here any second.
So we can dance in the garden.
Under golden candle light.
Celebrating the most bewitching time…
That lasts but only one night.
Oh Halloween, you leave us too soon.

It was a bit quiet with my kiddos away this year! I had my Mr. take me to a wonderful Mexican restaurant called Valle Luna for some Good Eats. Afterwards we visited the neighbors and found out we had less trick or treaters this year than last year. Maybe 20 at the most. Glad we went out instead of staying home cuz i would have been really bummed.

Yay, it’s nice to see your lovely face, Lady V. We had a quiet Halloween this year. Jake had his first Halloween party at school which he enjoyed.
Now, it’s all cold here. The temperature dropped to the 40’s.I can feel winter’s coming.

Oh my goodness, the witches are all tucked in for another year and I must be patient and wait and wait for the bewitching season to return…so sad, not really, we had so much fun today 🙂 celebrating with song and dance and food at the Phoenix Botanical Garden celebrating Day Of The Dead, making the fun last and last.

Oh! What a fun Halloween you had, Dearest Dear Vanessa! And how nice it was of your Mombie to have Mr. Pumpkinhead sent to you! What fun he is and such a nice friend for all of your other Halloween buddies! I so missed having Halloween night at my house, but we had fun having dinner with a friend for her birthday instead! Can you just imagine how much fun having your birthday on Halloween could be?!?!?

Those Harry & David cookies are super fun and I love your new Pumpkinhead fellow. He’ll be so happy among your other treasures and lovies.
Halloween night we threw a BIG kids party and invited all of our friends, even a few who don’t have any children. We ate a ton of good food like Chili with fritos and Hot dogs, too…plus a TABLE FULL of treats, went Trick-or-Treating around the neighborhood, danced in the kitchen, had a Silly String war in the back yard and laughed a lot.
