Halloween Postcards, Elfin Faces & Fun Magical Treats…

The country house is getting into Magical Halloween mode.  And, it wants you to jump into the fun!! Would you? C’mon, it’ll be extra sparkley if you do…

Halloween_postcards_1_sparkley

I made two little friends, who are just swoosh full of mischief.

Halloween_postcards_5

Next week, there will be a bevy of fun characters to share.  Can’t wait to let them party here!!  However, I do have other fun treats for today.

Finally, they are here.  Elfin and Halloween Postcards!!  The Halloween postcards can also be found in canvas print form, in my shop.

Sweet faces for any occasion (Mr. Lovee flipped out for these) –

Elf_postcards_2

I have been working on designing these all summer, perfecting them and bringing them to life.  The behind the scenes at the A Fanciful Twist dormitory is insane…  I spend most of my time going "oops, I didn’t know this was going to get so out of control."  But, I love it to bits!

So here we go…

Most of these are in my shop (take a peek).  There are two other Halloween postcards that will be in the shop on Friday (I’ll show you those at the end).

Halloween_postcards_8

This little gang warms my heart.  They came to me one by one, and then I put them all together, and loved them like that…

I took these photos so you can see the backside of the postcards too…

The Trick or Treaters:

Halloween_postcards_11

The second visitor is a Wickedly Witchy bird girl…

Halloween_postcards_18

All postcards are now sold with perfectly sized little white envelopes, like this one…

Halloween_postcards_16

What is Halloween without a totally traditional dose of witch and pumpkin and brooms and sparkles?

Miss Happy Halloween…

Halloween_postcards_7

I wish you could touch these, they are so delicious!!  Thick and satiney and scrumptious!!

Haunted Tea Time…

Halloween_postcards_14

I used different shades of orange, and am so glad I did…  I just love orange, from a burnt orange to a bright wacky orange, yummmmmmy.

Black and orange is goooood, me thinks for certain 😉

Halloween_postcards_9

I think I want to pack my bags and move into this next one… Wanna join me?  We could pitch a sparkle tent, and dance around the colorful star filled forest…

Here it is upclose (what the print looks like)…

Magical Spell

And below, the postcard front and back (a little glare in the photo, eek)…

Halloween_postcards_15

The reason I decided to order envelopes, was so that, none of the pretties on the back get covered by a stamp 😉

The following little Victorian Witch postcard, will be in the shop on Friday.  But, her print version on canvas, is already available…

Halloween_postcards_17

The Silhouette Witch below will be in the shop in Postcard form on Friday as well (with rounded corners).  But her print version is now available…

W_silhouette_witch_town_final

Last but not least (and not necessarily a Halloween guy), is a wee friend from last year’s Little Monster series…

Love My Pet (for any occasion)…

Halloween_postcards_13

So there you have it.  New postcards for all sorts of fun, plus a mini Halloween extravaganza.  It doesn’t end there though, next week, like I said, a bevy of little creatures make their appearance…

Oops, I almost forgot…  Strange Beautiful Lady – Carnivale (for any occasion) is in the shop in postcard form too!

Halloween_postcards_19

Oh wait, I bet you wanted to know who won the Mysterious Pumpkin holding girl from the last post?  Well, the name drawn was…….

Halloween_postcards_3

Yippeeee for her, Miss Lindsey!!  Of the Two Crazy Crafters bloglette! Send me your addy girls 😉

So, that is what is goin’ on in my world 😉  I wonder?  What did you do today??

Off I go for now…  Thank you for playing along with me, it means ooooodles (more than ooooodles)!!  xoxo, 🖤 V

I love everything! Your haunted house is great! How did you manage to do that with the background, is that a photoshopped background or did you wallpaper that wall, just for the occasion?
Let’s see what I have done. It’s early in the morning here, so I tell you about yesterday. I went to a brocante market, first by boat, this gives me such a vacation feeling and then a friend picked me up. I found two 1930ties schoolbooks and a petite talcum powder tin about an inch heigh. With stuff that makes your false teeth stay stuck in your mouth, might be handy one day. For now it’s in my dollies shop. And an extended thread card, you know with four rows of thread under each other. . The rest was all too expensive but that can give you a happy feeling too; I’m such a lucky girls to have bargains always except for now. Then we had a great capucino and some ‘douceurs’ mine was strawberries, white chocolate (good chocolate) and baker’s cream yummy. We were sitting in the sun, talking; fun! Then I went back by train and waited for my son and a friend of his to arrive and we lunched and we all had a great afternoon too! I cooked a lovely veggie meal, gives us all more sattifaction, (you know if we in the first and second world would eat less meat that there would be more food for us all.) Great day! Hope this one is good to all of us too! Enjoy! Thanks for your lovely post, makes a terrific start of the day!

  13. Amy Sullivan says:

    Geeeee~Whizzzzz~Ms.V.~
You blow me away! How do you do it? Each one is so fantastical! My daughter,Rowan~ would love you so~ she keeps saying ,”Mom, when are we going to get ready for Halloween?” She is only 8, but, always planning, putting on her apron & going about making things,~just so~. We often call her “Minnie Martha”~yes~ for that famous Martha we all love so much. But~ maybe, I will start calling her “Minnie Ms. V.” ~You two would have a blast! ~Amy~
