Flower Petals {New Cards in my Shop}

I am soooo excited today!

There are pretty new flower cards in my shop, hoooray!

Fresh Petal Cards

When you design a new batch of cards, you never really know what to expect until they arrive.

These do not disappoint, they are soooo pretty in person.

Bright and happy!

Here are some close ups…

Flowers and fruit front of card

The back of the card above is extra fun, with yellow polka dots!!

Oh, it makes me want to write snail mail now.

This one below is a very dear fave of mine.

I love the shadows and details the back window light casts.

Almost like a painting.

Poppies and Roses front of card

Here are some fairy lights and lovely little petals.

It's almost like an underwater scene isn't it?

And, last but not least…

That beautiful golden evening light…

Evening Garden front of card

I have always adored that image above.

Outside the gypsy wagon, cooking on the cast iron stove.

Graced by the sun and all the magic it imparts on photos snapped just at the right moment.

I am smitten by these.

I hope you like them too.

You can find them here.

And those polka dots below!

I think polka dots make the world a better place 😉

Don't you?

All of these cards are now in my shop.

Stocked and ready to go.

I even have an assorted set of all of them available too.

I just adore receiving and sending snail mail.

Isn't it such a luxury?

I find it so dreamy, this whole taken for granted postal service.

Mail right in your mailbox, it is amazing isn't it?

Even my little path to the mailbox makes me happy.

I think we should all send more fun snail mail, don't you?

Also, don't forget, I can always make you any custom assortment you might fancy.

And would be more than happy to.

I have been ever ever ever so busy.

I can't even describe it all.

You know those days when you are busy every single moment?

I have been like that for about 12 days now.

Creating, shipping, custom behind the scenes work, aiding in a move in 104'F weather for days.

The list goes on and on.

Plus playing in jewels and paint past midnight.

Many more fun things to come.

I have so many garden photos and things to share soon.

I invented some herby cheese scones by whim & accident.

I needed something to accompany a salad, so I took a cookie recipe I had in my mind, omitted all the sugars and replaced them with garlic and herbs and salt and cheese.

And a scone was born, oh my!

I also whipped up two new dressings.

One is a basil avocado vinaigrette.

Beyond delicious.

Must remake them to test my recipes before I share.

How are you?

What is going on out there in the great big world??

Loooove, V

Sparkly heart

Oh, oh, oh – look at those postcards!
I got a Bloglovin’ e-mail earlier, and thought it was for a new post (I saw “Fanciful…” and just just clicked on the link), but it was for the cards in your shop: I took one look at “Poppies and Roses” and absolutely fell in love!
Vanessa, what an eye you have – these are gorgeous!! The light in “Poppies…” and “Golden Garden Light” is wonderful, in different ways, but still both are so wonderful. And, really, all four cards are just beautiful!
Okay, could I cram more superlatives in here? : ) (Not that they’re not well-deserved.) I will try to toddle on over to the shop soon and order some (because what I need is more stationery in my house – the hubby may institute divorce proceedings if he finds out I’ve ordered more)! ; )

Oh, and P.S. – funny you should mention regular mail and letters and the post office: a letter is winging its way to you right this very moment!

Love your cards, they are so happy.
Me, I have self published a little book,
but no one knows it yet. It makes me
happy to see. Loving the end of growing
season too, just picked a bowl of plums
and a bowl of tomatoes. Yummm!

  3. Your cards are a must have! As you may or may not know, I have sent my personal notes on your cards all over the world for the past 2 years! As a result , my Vanessa cards are in need of replenishing! Thes are beautiful! xoDebi

What have i been up to? Showing a friend from TX around all my favorite places in CA….fitting what i’ve seen in two almost three years into a couple days…whew! I’m wiped out! Muir Woods, Muir Beach, San Francisco, Tahoe….She goes home today and things will calm down and i will miss her all over again! Lovely cards Ms. V. Hugs! deb

  7. Your photos are simply beautiful!! You need to publish a picture book of your gorgeous Bizarre Arizona home. 🙂

  8. Those are so beautiful. I’m going to have to snag a couple so I can send them to my Grandmother. She is doing better, but frail, and definitely can’t garden anymore; but she loves seeing images such as the ones you’ve taken. I know she’d love to receive these in the mail…brighten up her day for sure.

  9. Indigo says:

Those are such beautiful cards, stunning actually.
I totally LOVE snail mail! I write letters and postcards a few times a week!
It is such a treat when some people mail me back!
Wish more people would love snail mail as much as some of us do! I think that when one takes the time to write a note, letter or postcard, it shows that you really care.
    Have a WONDERFUL evening!
    🙂

  10. Miss Linda says:

Oh my goodness. These are so very beautiful. You’ve out done yourself. It’s like I want to go into the postcard and smell and touch the flowers.

  11. I love this post! All the lovely flower photo cards you have created are just beyond bliss! And the herbal scones sound out of this world yummy! Can’t wait for the secret recipes! And the basil avocado dressing!? Wow! Oh, yes, and the polka dots, so whimsical. I always think of the doll artist Penny McAlister who passed away a few years, as she ALWAYS wore polka dots. Sweet memories.
It’s still hot here, supposed to be 98 today, and upwards to 103 by Saturday. But our morning was a lovely 75 degrees today, very refreshing.
    lots of love,
    Miss Teresa
