Easter is rapidly approaching isn't it?
Perfect time to select some fanciful Easter freebies and tutorials to share.
Revisiting some faves can be so much fun.
These pressed sugar pretties are made using the same technique for panoramic sugar eggs you will see down below in this post.
Here is a link that will show you how to press sugar to make panoramic eggs.
You can then use that basic skill to add food coloring to your sugar and press sugar into any sort of mold or tin or tea cup you'd like in order to come up with fun shapes.
It's addicting and oh so fun I tell ya.
Okay so, next let's plunge into some free printable freebies.
Let's begin with these cutie egg wrappers.

I drew these little cutie heads and love sharing them with you.

You can use standard printer paper or card stock.

Easy right?
I just used everyday printer paper for mine.
But you can use anything you want, such as card stock.
Then just cut them out and stick the bands together on the back with tape.
Easy as pie!
And what a cute treat for egg recipients, don'tcha think?
You can also use them to wrap around plastic eggs.
Or doll them up even extra with paper and glitter as you see below.
These are elfin Easter egg wrappers.

Where I come from you will always see cascarones on Easter.
What are cascarones you ask?
Basically hollowed out and washed/dried egg shells, that you fill with glitter and paper confetti.
That are then decorated.
Traditionally broken on people's heads for fun in Mexico, during Easter.
Here's a style I like to make.
If you would like to make a cone cascaron, which I grew up with, and sparkle it up all pretty, click here for ideas and tips.
And last but not least, we can not forget panoramic sugar eggs.
The tutorial to make these can be found right here.
They are incredibly fulfilling to make.
Mine have kept perfectly for years now.
The peeking inside is really magical.
I highly recommend giving them a whirl.

Like I said at the beginning –
You can use the panoramic egg technique for pressing sugar to make all different types of shapes.
The sky is the limit!
Fun fun!!
Now hopefully the Easter bunny will stay up long enough to make his rounds.

But I seriously doubt it.
🙂

Hope you enjoyed the freebies and tuts.
I sure love sharing with you & hope even one person gets a use out of these treats.
That would make me extra happy.
So we have a week to make all sorts of things!
Time to start feverishly crafting my friends 😉
Loooove, V
It got hot here really early this year, oh no!!
Pumpkin seeds are now running late to be planted.
Must do this in the next couple days, oh my!!

Simply magical! It takes my breath away. So much loveliness in one place. What a wonderful way to start off my week. Thank you! I’m wondering if I could make sugar cubes for tea this way. Imagine the possibilities.
Most certainly,in all shapes & colors also. I make them to gift <3 so fun & easy 😉
Big huge happy sighs. I am so overly in awe of these — and so, SO far behind in my own preps. Love it all! Happy!
Oh so wonderful. It all makes me smile. Thank you
So pretty! And I love the photo of the Easter bunny…adorable!
Your tutorials are so sweet, Vanessa. It’s always a pleasure to be able to print out these goodies.
The Panoramic Sugar Eggs are divine. I love anything in the realm of being able to ‘peak’ inside of anything magical, like shadow boxes, or dioramas too.
thank you!
Miss Teresa
Happy Spring!
It was 80 degrees at 7 P.M. tonight, way too soon to be having it that warm at night!
LOVE all of your ideas, but sleepy Miles bunny is the best. He can hop on over to my house to visit any time he wants, Easter or not! Good luck planting your pumpkin seeds. So much to look forward to 🙂 I hope you are well and are all healed up.
Miles is seriously the twin of my Remington! It is unreal! I am dying to make the panoramic egg tutorial. So much fun to be had, so little time!
Dearest Dear Vanessa,
What fun Easter projects you have given us!! Thank you! I’m not sure if I will have time to do them this year, but what fun they all must be! I see that springtime is in full swing in your wonderful world! What we wouldn’t give for some of that early warm weather! We’ve had days in the 40’s and are now seeing some bare ground, but we still have a lot of snow to get melted before we can think about true springtime here, you know! I did go out and buy a bunch of new pots to plant my container garden on the porch, but it will be weeks before I will get to use them!
Wishing you, Mr. Lovey, Matty and Miles a lovely Easter!
With biggest hugs,
Betty
Thank you. I will print the little decos to make an arrangement on the table. I need to get busy because we have some visitors coming on Sunday.
I’ve been busy sewing and made an adorable little bunny 🙂 for an adorable little girly.
You have such good ideas Vanessa. I love the idea of the pressed sugar decorations. Sometimes I paint blown eggs and give them as little gifts in an egg cup.
What a wondrous combination of lovely, adorable, sparkling, fun, charming, and just downright beautiful, Easter projects. Thank you for being so generous in gifting so many ideas, tutorials and printouts! Your panoramic sugar eggs in particular always make me swoon. But I’m sorry, as much as I love all those Easter makes, nothing, absolutely nothing, can compare to your in-house Easter bunny. He is supreme. Looking very sleepy and/or unimpressed (!), but definitely supreme. Precious Miles, he is something else, and a real angel of a furdog! :)))
