Early in the morning, if you manage to tumble out of bed, just at that right moment…
And head out to the great big apricot tree in the garden…
There will be this perfect point in time, where…
Fairytale light peeks in…
Beckoning you to crawl in amongst the leaves and twigs.
Into the most exquisitely hazy glow…
And –
In that moment, as the light starts to creep over the mountains, and meet with the trees, there is a sense of escaping this world, and entering another realm…
For a split second in time, the trees speak, the tender morning air embraces you, as you hover between clouds, and time, and feelings, and emotions…
You hold there, for a moment.
Soaking it all in.
The big bell in the distance.
Soon however, you are found.
The warm furry bodies that discover you, remind you that, that magical place lives on, even outside of the imagination…
If you open your eyes and senses enough to see what anyone can see.
It is always there for each one of us, in the simplest places.
Fairytale Light.
It is a beautiful calm day.
With inspirations floating about…
Can you feel them?
I hope so.
Love, V
ps: At this very moment.
Under my toes as I type, is Miles, and right behind me, Matty (Matisse).
(Matty)
(Miles)
Must be so nice to snooze all day 😉
Not a care in the world.
I am so glad they get to have such a life.
Little Loves.

awwwww
hmm. I never wake up early anymore, unless I’m travelling somewhere… But here, we have daylight all night during the summer :-S I was up until 3.30 a.m. last night (insomnia) and after 2, it looks almost like noon but without people around.
OH GOSH! How very, very lovely – the photos in the PS –
LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 I WANT TO HUG THEM!!!!!
Sarah Brightman is a fairy voice – don’t you think? My daughter & I saw her in concert and she has such an ethereal quality all around her. The “destroyed” in the sign is from New York airport (all unclaimed luggage will be destroyed)…………..
Look in the upperhand right corner of your tree picture w/Miles and Matty – do you see the cross? (Baby)
I would like to try that snoozing all day, at least once. On the other end of the spectrum, despite good intentions every night when I go to bed I have yet to truly rouse myself early enough to go walking and enjoying the early morning light (and cooler temps). Need to motivate myself.
🖤 the fairytale light… One of my favorite times of day is when the golden morning sun casts its light over the Koolau mountains. It’s magical for sure…
I love the idea of fairytale light and think I might get some of that in my garden too. Beautiful!
Hi Miss Valencia! What beautiful pictures and what a beautiful morning. I am so glad you arevable to capture such calmness and morning beauty and to share it with us. I am as so happy that your furry little children have such a wonderful life with you and your love.
Have a wondrous day!
Kim
I want to move into your brain sometimes.
i’ve been feeling like i don’t Really take the time to listen to my perceptions these last few weeks – like i’ve just been letting them roll over me and not giving them their due.
This blog reminds me to stop that and LiSten again.
thank you for that.
xx,
a
I love that golden, dripping honey light in the morning. If I get up early enough, I try to sneak out to the woods before Violet wakes.
The boys look super duper comfy.
I haven’t visited in a while and I can’t believe how big your lil Boy has gotten!!! What a handsome young Man he’s turning into!
Love the calm peaceful Morning photos… I have always been a Night Person (too many years of working 2nd Shifts I think) and now that I’m Retired from the Corporate World I have been re-training myself to capture the beauty and serenity of the early Mornings… it truly is Magical!
Dawn… The Bohemian

Your photos made me smile….and smile again when I saw your furry ones, Nice post.
I love waking up early and catching that light. Douglas has been sleeping like that lately…
I love your dogs. Is Miles named for Miles Davis? Our best friend for eight years was a mastiff named Miles until he went to the rainbow bridge. You are lovely. Keep the sweet posts coming!
beautiful. and funny…I am listening to “Destroyed” right now. I was on my patio enjoying my garden as the sun was going down, art journaling and listening to the new cd… …enjoy your evening Vanessa! xo
glad to see that there arent pictures of fires destroying your land…over here in oz they have shown great fires raging in arizona and i thought of you. hope you are safe and far away from it all.

a lovely post. Love the dogs sound asleep.
The puppies are so cute! =D And I can’t believe how BIG Miles has gotten… @_@
And I DO feel the inspiration of this morning! =D
I felt it trickle in, as I sat & stared with love at my freshly watered garden plot & the sun peeked through the clouds at me to say “Hello!”
I think today will be the day I make invitations for the tea party… Yay!
Love & hugs!
XOXO
Beautiful photos.
Love the ones of the snoozing doggies.
LOVE this post 🙂
Oh how MAGICAL, Vanessa! I am listening to the Moby song right now as I type this – and I SEE fairy lights dancing in my head and feel quite peaceful and calm. Wouldn’t it be fun to don a flowing dress and dance barefoot in that light? 🙂 So loved seeing your furry babies all happy and sleepy. Mine curl up the same way when I’m in the studio or here in the living room typing away – one on either side! 🙂 There’s nothing like fur baby love! xoxox
I “bEeLIeVe” …have a honey of a night ~ sweet dreams… … ;O) xox
When did you plant your pumpkins? Or are those even pumpkins…I’m in Phoenix. I planted my pumpkin seeds probably in December, I don’t really remember…but my vines are PUNY! They’re not even “vines” yet, they’re just a few leaves and a flower. They’re still pretty, but I want long vines like yours. My mom, who lives around the corner from me, planted cantaloupe seeds in a container in her front yard and her vines are long and pretty like yours! So I’m doing something wrong. I think I need to feed mine something.
Maybe you can ask your garden fairies to make a trip to the city 🙂
