Extra Love Day

It's that special day.

The day of extra mushy gushy loooooove.

This is for you.

For being honest and open and kind and gentle, and above all, supportive.

For sharing your own journeys, and huddling together to be far away friends.

It almost seems silly to say thank you.

Like, it's just not enough.

Because I feel more than thank you.

(Especially because I woke up in the middle of the night thinking, what did I do? And then your kindness fixed that feeling.)

However, I do feel more like a pink monkey with an I love you heart glued to me.

So, that's that 🙂

As I am typing, the strong smell all over me is intense…

This morning I have been making rosemary hearts.

I have a fondness towards rosemary scent.

Mister Lovee makes a mixture of jojoba oil and rosemary oil for his hair.

It's a faint scent, but it reminds me of him.

It's the first thing I noticed about him when I met him.

It's really mild, so it's only a rosemary teaser, and very refreshing.

Also, Miles has a habit of crawling in the rosemary bush every morning.

So, when he comes up to hug me, he always smells like rosemary.

My mom taught me to cook with it, especially when roasting turkey.

It just adds the most amazing flavors.

To make the hearts, I just used floral wire, and attached pieces together to form a heart.

Then I put a stabilizer wire from the middle top, to the middle bottom.

Just so that it takes a more heart shape as it dries a little.

I'll gift a couple of these today.

I spent a little while going over my Valentine rock heart collection.

Plus, adding one more.

There are a few big ones I didn't photograph. 

But I keep all the little ones in this glass box from ML.

He has been giving me rocks that he finds in the shape of a heart, and then paints, since the first year I met him.

I cherish them madly.

Some have poems/sayings he invented on the back, especially two of the big ones I didn't photograph.

Such a simple yet heart string gesture to me.

I can't think of anything given to me from a boy, that I am more obsessed with, than these little heart rocks.

Keep your eyes out for them.

They are a great lil' gift.

I am always on the hunt for heart rocks now myself.

Well, I better go finish getting Mister Lovee's gift together…

Do something super nice for yourself today if you can.

I had the bestest outing with my mom and dad yesterday.

It was like Christmas and Valentine's day smooshed together.

Love those parents, so lovely lovely.

They are funny and fun, and make me feel like a teenager.

In a good way.

Vacuum under the bed and everything.

That's a nice self gift, me thinks?

Nothing like being in a nice clean room, with fresh sheets, all cozy.

Okay, off to find Mister Lovee and give him his treats.

He already got some pj's and things last night.
