A Wonderland Mad Tea Party in the Secret Garden

Welcome lovely friends!

Come right into my garden.

I’ve been saving you a special seat.

Through the garden gate, down the flowered path…

Nothing could make me happier than inviting you into my garden for another Mad Tea Party.

Who would have ever imagined that I’d be hosting a virtual tea party for almost 2 decades?

Such joy it brings me to welcome you through for cakes and tea clinks.

Here we are, under magical light…

Right beneath the rose arbor.

With all of our favorite characters.

The white rabbit was wondering what took you so long to come in.

Of course he is always in a rush.

Don’t be late for a very important date…

A little Alice Blythe doll I custom made will be our hostess this year.

Take any teacup you would like.

One lump of sugar, or two?

The roses and sunlight seem absolutely magical on this fine day.

Peeking through the secret garden is a fairy tale dream.

Just beware of strange potions and unusual cakes.

Step into our storybook with beams of sunlight on ruffled poppies.

And paths beckoning you in as your twirl in your fanciest frock.

Our dear Alice, guiding the way.

I wonder who else we shall see?

And what is that beautiful humming you ask?

Why, it’s the roses singing their hauntingly beautiful tune just for you.

Lalalaaaaaaaa!

A wonderfully marvelous day to join up together, wouldn’t you say?

Golden hour beams through the garden, washing any sorrows away.

A slice of cake, a sip of this and that, and don’t forget to put this rose in your hat.

The magic of creativity and imagination is something we should hold very dear.

And be careful to never lose.

That’s part of why I like to meet you here.

To share in our kindred love of fairy tales and magical happenings.

Here in a garden I planted to hold and keep all of our dreams safe.

Wonderland will always be within you.

All you have to do is close your eyes, imagine it, and you are there.

Now, do stay as long as you like.

The fairies fly in at a quarter past 5.

But don’t be alarmed at any tricks they might play on you.

The Mad hatter is here day and night 365 days a year.

He just takes naps under the table.

Never wanting the fun to end.
