Let's follow Alice, down the path…
She drank a secret potion, which made her quite sleepy, and not tall at all…
Slowly, slowly she tumbled…
Down the hole.
She awoke to a white rabbit, passing through…
Zippity Doodah, in a hurry, woo hooo!
He spoke so fast…
He was late, late, late for tea!
Can't be late, mustn't be late!
As he scampered off he quickly invited her to the festivities…
As well as you and you and you, and even me too!
She chased him through the forest, her long dress nearly tripping her…
And then, she saw a glimmer through the trees.
Laughter and clanking, nonsensical rhymes!
She approached with butterflies in her belly.
Nervous and excited, time for fun, tea time too!
The white rabbit was there to introduce and greet Alice, and all of us following right behind her.
Welcome Welcome, to The Mad Tea Party two thousand and thirteeeeen!!
The table is set, and everyone is gathered!
Splendid, scrumptious and divine to see you they chant!!

They nodded as they over filled their tea cups and stuffed their cheeks with cake.
So very happy to see you today kind ladies and gents!
I would like some tea from the Mad Hatter's favorite pot.

I hear it's spiced, yet sweet, cinnamoney too!

Darjeeling, woo hoo!
Oh oh, and what's in the pie?

Everyone is so overjoyed to see you.
The Hatter is extra glad you sipped the secret concoction which made you tiny in the garden.
The March Hare gives you a key, so you can find your way back everyday at a quarter past 3.
When life gets rotten or tough, or if it's lovely just as much, you can easily find your way here.

Oh my gosh you made the entire party!! As in literally made it, hahaha! I want the entire set!! Can I request/hope/beg that you’ll offer pics of the whole tea party on postcards at some point? Maybe? Please? Pretty please? With little tiny cakes on top? LOL! 🙂

Hey Vanessa I like the idea of doing a miniature party where you don’t have to make everything full size. How long did it take to make all those teas and cakes and characters? Oh Vanessa!!! I am so madly in love with this enchanting set of characters and wee cakes. I should like to purchase the entire set for One Million Dollars!!! As soon as I win the lottery. I just wanted to thank you for a week of delight. There was the fun of anticipation, putting it together, posting and then being a part of the group. It’s taken me time to go through the Mad Partiers, but it was loads of fun.
Now I feel like a terrible guest, because I didn’t adequately tell you how much I loved YOUR tea party! I am so impressed with all you made for the party. The colors are so cheerful, the characters charming and the table groans with servings. It’s so much fun to look at. Your parties are such an inspiration. You make me smile.
Thank you again for including me. I really enjoyed being part of it this year. My mind is already thinking ahead for next year.

I created my party post on Saturday. On Sunday morning, I did something completely normal, and my back went out for no reason. I was out of work for twho and a half days, on my back, miserable, in pain, and could not sit up! This is my first visit to any party! wow. I was out all evening the past two evenings, so I’m very glad to have all weekend to visit parties. This is the most beautiful start!
