I just spied the Jan/Feb/Mar 2014 issue of Somerset Life.
We are so delighted to see our gypy garden in this issue.
Ah, those spring and summer days in the garden.
Something to look forward to during winter months.
Makes me want to go out there and play.
Many times photos don't look as lovely in print, but you can tell that folks go out of their way at Stampington to make Somerset Life beautiful. The photos are so lush in every single article.
So happy to be a part of it.
That paragraph is pure truth.
Here are some snippets from other articles, that I thought were lovely…
Inspiration love.
Bloom love.
Crafting love.
Last night Mister Lovee called me from the craft store in town, and said, need any supplies before I head home?
He does this from time to time.
Then he said he was picking up an extra issue of Somerset Life, so I could gift it away to one of you.
Isn't that so nice???
So I have a copy to gift.
Just leave a comment and I'll draw a name in a few days.
See you soon.
Love, V
ps: Winner is #13, Barbara from Notes from BirdSong.
Hoooray!!
Thanks to everyone who played, what fun!!!
xoxo

Oh Miss Vanessa, I would love the chance to win this magazine…There are many beautiful things to look at and do. That is so very nice of Mr. Lovee to do that for you and for you to do this for us.
Hi Vanessa, congrats on another lovely magazine feature. The spread in the magazine looks absolutely wonderful! How could one NOT be inspired? Thank you for offering to gift a copy of the magazine – how thought of the Mr. to pick up an extra! xoxo Theresa

Wow! That’s just beautiful and the paragraph as well!
I’ve heard of this magazine only through blogs, but I have never seen in the regular market. B & N or at a fancy Fry’s?
Congratulations!!! That is amazing. You are beyond talented 🙂
So lovely: congratulations! The mag looks really fun…thanks for the generosity!
Congratulations Vanessa! Your article looks just awesome & also contains 2 of my favorite things – Gypsy & Garden!

Oh, how very, very nice! I really must get to the bookstore and check this out! It would be awesome to win, but if not, I’ll just go buy one! Thank you for the chance!
Why Mister Lovee, aren’t you just a peachy Lovee!
I have never ever seen this magazine before…but I immediately recognized the hands of Flora Bowley….I’ve taken two Bloom True workshops with her. (We both missed each other by a day in Green Valley where both our parents live over the holidays) And I drove up to Mt Lemmon and waved to you over in Catalina!
Happy New Year miss V! Let’s hope its free of mysterious mysteries of mystery, but full of magic and mischief! 🙂
Very exciting! It looks like a fabulous article! Congrats! What a great way to start the new year!
In the gray, grey, gray of Chicago’s bleak mid-winter, all of your glorious color sure warms my heart. This magazine with pictures of your wonderful gypsy world would do a soul some good. Throw my hat in the ring for a chance, please.
Cheers!
Kathy from Chicago
I already bought the issue. One of my favorite magazines of theirs. I was so excited when I saw your article in there. I love to sit in my favorite chair with a big stack of my fave magazines this time of year. (Just commenting to tell you I saw it but don’t need to win one 🙂 ).
One of my favorites and I LOVE to see things of you and your fun happenings in there!
That’s fabulous for you! And us as well. Thank you both for the chance to win!
Mr lovee is a true gem,how sweet of him. Your garden is fantastic. Its amazing how you have successed with your crops in the desert.

Wonderful magazine that certainly looks like it would evoke dreams of high summer. In rainy dreary southern Sweden, with only a couple of days left of my vacation, I could use some rays 🙂
That is so sweet of both of you. I would love to win a copy.
“Creative & Authentic Living”
Yep. It definitely makes sense that you’d be in there.
Congratulations, Vanessa!
How very thoughtful of Mister to pick up a gifting copy. He must be very proud.
All the very best (and most fun) in this new year!
Cheers,
Meg
Your articles are always very beautifully crafted!! It’s funny….I just picked up my new issue of MaryJanes Farm and saw a photo that I had taken of one of our barn kitties sitting atop one of our Kunekune pig gals…with one of the roosters about a foot away. Isn’t it fun to see your world in print??
I have been a lurker for a nice long time now. I’m not much of a commenter but have been wanting to tell you how inspired I am by your gardens and your home. I’ve enjoyed your Mad Tea Parties for all the years you’ve had them. I have also found so many wonderful blogs to read through the people who comment on your posts. Thank you for making my world just a bit more magical.
Well, it’s worth a shot! I’d love to have a look at the magazine. It would be lovely to bask in some prettiness in these cold, COLD days in New England!
Cheers,
Dana
Ooh, yay!
Hi Vanessa,I’ve never seen that magazine here in the UK. It looks beautiful! How kind of Mister Lovee to think to buy another copy, and how kind of you to give us a chance to win it. Blessings
Great magazine. Btw, I’m loving your yarn posts! Would you consider doing a video to show how you do a couple of simple weaves???
I was thinking about that. My video camera is making lines on videos,
but its under warranty so I am going to take it this week to get fixed so I can
do that 🙂 Its totally an option ;)))

Would love to win a copy…looking for inspiration to bring more magic into my life! I dream of your pumpkins in trees and have gathered many packs of seeds to grow my own pumpkin trees this year!
Looking at your gypsy garden would be such a pleasure during these very cold days here in Maine. I would love to win
a copy of the mag!!!!
Awesome! I’m so excited now. 🙂
Congrats V! That gypsy garden of yours is something else 😉
Yay! It’s so nice to see you in print, Vanessa. You’re awesome, and the world could use a little slice of awesome. Every day. With breakfast. And for a snack.
Vanessa,
I’m holding off running to BAM for a copy!!! I love everything you do at your little place out west!!
How perfect your spot of paradise fits in one of my very favorite publications. It is all I can do not to hop in the car and bring home my very own copy. Thanks to your hubby for thinking of us.
I need some inspo right now! I hope it is meeee!
Mr. Lovee was so sweet to pick up an extre issue to give away! :3
Congratulations, Dearest Dear Vanessa!
I agree with you, Stampington does an amazing job with their magazines! One of my collages was featured in the special Marie Antoinette issue years ago and it is so super cool to look through the magazine and see your work there!!! I’m so happy for you! How very lovely it was of Mr. Lovee to pick up a copy for you to give away!
Wishing you a wonderful evening!
Betty
Congratulations! It is very exciting to see someone from around these parts in Somerset Life magazine. I actually already bought because you are featured in it.
Hi there! I haven’t commented in a long time, but I always read your blog. The thing is, I read blogs on my Kindle Fire when I go to bed, and it won’t let me comment sometimes. The oddities of technology, I guess! Anyway, the article and the magazine look fabulous, and I’d love to win them. Even if I don’t, though, that’s OK. I just want you to know that I’m a faithful reader and love all your posts! Blessings to you and the Mister and the pups.
If anyone’s photos deserve to be in Somerset Life, yours certainly do! How wonderful.
That is so sweet of Mr. Lovee! Tell him Thank You for thinking of us! Would love to win a copy of this! There’s so much I need to try!
That’s so cool and congratulations on the article. Your pics and blog entries are always magical and inspiring, so it’s easy to see why they feature your artistry. I’m going to have to subscribe to a few of these magazines and I always enjoy magazines that make me want to create art, make a crafty project or bake food.
***What are the main mags that you’d suggest I look into, just in case I miss a few that aren’t on my radar?*** 🙂
Thank you Mr. Lovee for being so thoughtful. It would be lovely to win this issue 🙂
Nikki, thank you ooooodles for saying you are out there. Sometimes I
wonder if and who is out there ;)))

sigh sigh sigh, happy, melancholy, dreamy, wandering, curious, chock full of magic sigh…..your paragraph is awesome and deserves to be a postcard…or the front of a journal. <3 xoxoxviiixoxo
Mr Lovee is so thoughtful! I’m excited for a chance to win the newest issue of Somerset Life. It looks scrumptious!! Thank you to both of you for the chance!!!!
How lovely–I would love to own a copy.
Wow Vanessa, you are becoming a magazine celebrity. Soon we will be seeing you on talk shows…LOL Have you ever considered writing a book? Or at least a hodge podge of photos, thoughts and recipes from your blog. I bet you could sell it to all your Fanciful-ites. Just a thought. My friend is a crafter and she did a book about making peg dolls and the publisher said she sold so many, they want a volume 2 now. You are so creative, I’m sure you would have a world of ideas for a book. Just putting that out into the universe! Hugs from California!
Your garden makes me dream and believe in making things happen! It is wonderful that you get to share it and make others believe. Your writing is also beautiful. Thank you to ML for getting another magazine.
Must be so lovely to see your work featured this way! Would love to win this!
Yeth Mith V

Cheers for making it into Somerset Life! Looks like a superb article, my dear.

You know who I am…but I do hide sometimes in my room…awakening only after a long, Snow White sleep!!! Just being silly here!
Can I win twice in a row? Let’s see how lucky I am. The last magazine was simply fabulous and I enjoyed it so very much. I am slowly putting more and more art and creativity in my life. It feels so good!! Cheers.

I love your gypsy garden and I’m not at all surprised Somerset magazine wanted to feature it in an issue.
Just catching up on my favorite blogs and what a wonderful surprise! I will purchase this issue the very next time I am in B&N, which will be soon! So love visiting your blog…I should more often.
Happy New Year Vanessa!
Ciao bella,
Suzanne
PS
I want to be your neighbor!
Yes! I will need to go to Jo Ann’s Fabric as they are pretty good about stocking Stampington publications, now that Borders Cafe and Books is no longer in existence.
This will be an issue to explore for inspiration and intrigue!
So happy you were published in its pages!
XO
