Okay, I know that there are more important issues happening in and around the world. But, I have to say, a girl needs to talk shoes and luxury every once in a while. And, don't we deserve some silly-ness, as life can be so heavy all on its own. And really, what is silly about a goods night sleep due to cushy wonderful pillows and crisp white sheets? Nothing. A good sleep can change your whole life.
Let me first just say, I am going to announce my shoe choice and the winner of my giveaway in my next post, as I have a heap of wonderful shoe shopping to do and I just can't make my decision. I thought about purchasing several…But, we'll see. The girls in my loftish space closet can be quite brutal. They gang up on eachother…Especially the Queen….She can not see sharing her reign with any other sole…
They can be so un-lady like. Attacking eachother and stepping all over eachother…
You can imagine how left out all the others at home feel. As much as I love them, they can be so evil, these little creatures. Sometimes they get angry and decide to pinch my toes or blister my heels. My adoption underway, will be of a cute, sweet and tender young pair. A pair that can easily spend lots of time with me, pain free. Well, slightly pain free. No pain, no…whatever.
As for the bedding. This came in the mail…
Yes, that is Home – Anthropologie. I was stunned to see fabrics I have gushed about in the past on some of the upholstery! But, first, check out the order I will be placing….What do you think?
I am so excited! I just love it. I can't wait for it to get here!!! I adore an all white bed, however, this allows a liitle desgin and color with that fresh light crispness that I love.
Now here are some of the other treasures you will find in the Anthropologie Home Catalogue.
And, my absolute favorite was one that shocked me! Why? I blogged about this fabric forever ago, and I can not believe it is on a sofa, ready to go. If only…Can you imagine living with this thing??? Wishing…
I am excited to announce my choice, as the treasure will be worth the shoe shopping ideas. Can you believe Easter is almost here? My little tree is all ready. Okay, maybe I never took it down after Christmas. Devlish grin…
But, I think it gets by just fine. Especially with the magical Easter treats from MizSmoochieLips (Flower and egg, below). If it wasn't for her, this rabbit (really a rabbit in the chinese calendar) would not have any Easter treats around.
Okay, off I go – venturing…Into the real world…And then, back to shop tonight and make my shoe decision and purchase. I also have some little tags to answer to, which are always interesting. Have a delightful day! xxo,Vanessa
ps: Saw "The Holiday" last night and loved it to pieces!!!!!Why had I not seen it yet??It was cute and sweet and just what I needed to relax in this crazy life.

Vanessa, why do you always have the bestest stuff in the whole wide world?! Oh, for your meelions to go shopping with. And is that Pigeon, I spy? She seems to live a happy life with you; one full of glitter and sunshine. Can’t get better than that!
I have been longing to see The Holiday. I love Brits, even the devilish Jude Law. I can’t wait to see it. Must visit NetFlix soon!
That couch is DIVINE! I too love love love that even though I had not yet seen that fabric. Wow! I had also not previously known about Anthropologie Home. Hmmmm…. I try so very hard to stay off of catalogue mailing lists and such but I might have to make an exception for this. That or BEG you to post a photo blog of each and every page each time you get one in the mail. Ha!
Lovely decadence from you today! Ohhh la la! 🙂
xo,
Karen Beth 🙂
The Queen – what a pair of shoes I would want to look at them all day long. Thanks for sharing the Antthropology catalogue, the images are gorgeous, like a really nice book. Love your choices.
I got my catalog in the mail the other day and lusted after that same couch! I imagine it in a pristine white room on a beach somewhere. Too bad I don’t have one of those handy! 🙂
I so agree with you about the Anthropologie catalog–I’ve been salivating over it since it arrived!
What a cute tree! I’m gonna stay away from anything Anthropolgie related at the moment as my wallet has dust bunnies in it. 🙁
miss fanciful, i just about finished reading all the posts i missed and there u go adding more fabulous entries…i have fanciful eye balls they are hanging out at the pure pleasure of ur pic’s…

Oh my gosh!!! I absolutely crave that couch!!! I so do not love my couch….I even totally picked out the style and slip cover but now I hate it!! I didn’t understand what those high arms would be like!! You can’t talk to someone sitting in the chair next to you because the arms are so high…..oh i would love to trade it in on this beauty!!
I just love your little tree!!Oh heck I love everything about you!xoxo
Oh the queens shoes are heavenly!! You know I adore anything with even a hint of Baroque – and those would be fit for Marie Antoinette herself!!
Somedays I ‘wish’ we had Anthroplogie here in the UK – somedays I am glad we don’t as I would be even more poverty stricken than I already am. I do often gaze in wonder at the website though. I ‘need’ to make some anthroplogie inspired clothes soon!!
Oh what a fanciful pile of jealous shoes! I love that top pair to death!
I am in such a rush, must dash but had to say that i love the shoes, love that chair and your tree makes me ache.
love you 2 bits!!!
and your Easter tree! tres pretty pretty!
Oh Vaaaannneeesssssaaa!
Those shoes are simply divine…i’m thinking you got those off the set of ‘Marie Antoinette’! that bow! bellisssimo!
how exciting, who could be the winner 🙂
i wish i had tried harder, i don’t think i won. my entries were not appropriate for you. ah well, maybe the next contest.
Oh my gawdy glitterness 🙂 I do love the bows on those shoes, Imelda!
Oh-oh, are you having couch lust? I found some! Comfort over beauty at my age and motherly-ness, you know. Huge oversized overstuffed brown leathery goodness. I’m dying for them to be delivered.
Your tree is scrumptious! I’m flattered up and down that you talked about little ol’ crazed me! *she likes me, she likes me*
Anywho, you remind me of a babe! *air kisses and stuff*
I am a white bedding person myself…but wow!!! I sure could fall for branches and birds on my duvet.
One thing I know…a girl can never have too many shoes or too much jewelry…indulge…you deserve it after all your hard work and a great show.
Love the pretty Christmas/Easter tree. So pretty! And, the shoes with the pink bow, are they Marie Ant. inspired? Beautiful! I hope you find something amazing that also doesn’t bite. I have a book that I love called Better Thank Beauty, A Guide to Charm (I think it was written in the 30’s…it’s kinda funny in parts) It recommends bathing to be charming, which I completely agree with! and it says that it is very difficult to be charming if your feet hurt…. so keeping that in mind, find some nicer, more non-violent and peace-loving shoes… Big grin 🙂
Silly Typepad…It would not let me leave a comment last night no matter how I begged and pleaded with it, it turned a blind eye…No matter, here I am now.
Oh, I am excited to see the lovely shoes you pick out…and the Anthropologie couch? Totally amazing. Ms. Dina and I were drooling over all the couches in the latest issue of Domino, as it seems to be a couch issue. Some of them are several thousand dollars however, so we may just have to drool from afar.
I saw the holiday this weekend and loved it, so very sweet. And, I’m telling you, if I could meet Jude Law, I’d happily swap my house with someone for a couple of weeks…mmmmm
As always a delightful and stunning post….and have a great and blessed Easter
I love those shoes with the pink bows on the heels – AND – Anthropologie – oh how I love Anthropologie – I am very much hoping to get my catalogue soon – the catalogue alone is delightful eye candy.
xox – eb.
The Bed Spread…LOVE it. That is the find of the year.
I sometimes wonder if I am making you up. You are such a fantastical being. Pls post pics of you. And I want a podcast of your studio!
Wow!!! That couch is spectacular! I recieved my Anthro catalog yesterday, but not the special home edition! Wah! Those shoes in the top pic are SOOOO Marie Antionette, lovely!!!Your tree is so sweet, too!
Your tree is just darling and I agree perfect for Easter or Christmas 🙂 My favorite part of Holiday was the tent! I wanted one just like it. Good luck on the shoe.
I loved ‘The Holiday’ too…Jude Law is a hottie but his spray tan seems so out of place in a snowy english village…my man said its a chick flick!
I was poking around the Anthropoligie site the other day – the Winter Sale section is great for me as its getting cooler over here.
Love your shoes!
Wow, your shoes collection is to die for (the one with the bow at the back is Marie Antoinette worthy)! Swooning over the Anthropologie Home catalog- Why oh why is it not coming to the UK? It’s a patterns fest!
Love The Holiday so much, I got the DVD (after seeing it twice). And your shoe collection is phenomenal! I like the teasers from Anthropologie as well. Great stuff! And Happy Easter to you, dear Vanessa. xo
so. . .very. . .much. . .in. . .love.
those bird sheets. yummy.
I love the shoe collection! And your Anthropologie choices? Mmmm… lovely!
