Hi there! So much to tell, so much to say, but for now just peeking in, because I wanted you to have a little slice of heaven (in the form of a baked good)…
White chocolate, raspberries ~ Miam Miam…
I had to turn my car into a refrigerator the other day, packed with ice, to get this luscious treat 2 hours to Mombie's (and Dad's of course) without it melting, and it was success! YAY!
It has been treat central, shopping and visits galore…
Lots of one on one time with Mombie. Much needed time and much loved time.
I rented The Secret of Roan Inish so she could see it. Her and Dad loved it. I highlighted her hair, oh soo much stuff.
Mombie got lots of treats, including many shared treats from some of you. Tons of loot was hauled here and boy has she had fun.
A Tussie Mussie made by Mister Fabuloso, Tristan Robin, picked up at his shop right here…
A little precious crown that I shared with Mammie, made by Miss Lulu Kellogg…
I gave her my Paper Flower Chandelier (she freaked) along with oodles of other things…
Annnnd, she flipped for a hat Miss Cori made me, that I just had to share with Mombie. I think she might never take it off. She kept saying, my hat my hat, careful with my hat…
I just LOVE celebrating other people's birthdays. I adore watching people open gifts and blow out candles. It really is blissful…
I will have to say, the best gift of all came from nature itself. A gift so beautiful, there is nothing to compare…
The sky hovered like the entrance into a fairytale. We sat in awe…
With thick clouds, glowing pink and brimming full of enchantment. If that wasn't over the top fab enough, there was even a ginormous falling star… C'mon, who planned this? 😉
Thank you beautiful sky, with your Cinderella colors, for coming to Mombie's Birthday week bash.
My Mom is beyond words. But, before I go all mushy to the Nth degree, and start to tremble lips and bawl - I'll stop myself, and just hold my thankfulness tight. Thankful that I was born to Her and my Dad. Another delightful trip to visit the ones I love…
Birthday love abound for everyone.
I have to tell you. I have taken so many photos. I had Mombie take me to old parts of the town. I saw charming homes, people, shrines, gardens and more. Tiny streets.
There are so many familiar places I am seeing as an adult with vastly different eyes from when I was a girl… I even trekked (in heels and a skirt, mind you) into spots only reporters would, and can't wait to share the photos. Thank you for adventuring with me in this little nook in blogland. I love being able to share tid-bits with you.
🖤,V
ps: Thank you for the Reddish (I mean PINK-ish, as I stand lovingly corrected by beloved Miss Pink) raspberry chair love. I shared that chair years ago, but for some reason, you all noticed it more than evah. My chair has a message for you that I must deliver next time… xoxo
pss: I should be fined by the "word police" for using the word "treat" so much in this post 😉

you mean your chair that looks like my chair that looks like your chair has secrets? of course it does!
You are such a beautiful soul, Veevala, that of course you mumsy and daddio would be two *perfect* twinklestars too. 😉
And, I see the sky was in agreement with me on that one, because there is the proof, pictures of clouds dancing in jubilant admiration, while a star drops by to say wish upon me! 🖤
Yay for birthday love! Yay for loving love! Yay for lovie love! Yay for yaying~!!
PS Yay for promises of photos and stories and sharing to come, you make this planet a better place you do you do!!!

I love that your mombie let you have such a WONDERFUL chunk of cake when you were little.
Simply LOVE how you delight in all this just as I would–it’s so FUN and happy, I sometimes want to throw birthdays for everyone! I’m making a hat. I’ve decided. Oh, and more flowers. I’m having a dinner party soon, so I’m making tin can lanterns, too.
I’m blaming you!
