It's a lovely autumn day.
Sunny sky, crisp air & feeling well again.
Hooray!
Thanks for the good vibes, I think they worked!!
And of course, we must leave a thank you to…
Tea.
What a special thing.
I've had ever so much tea the last 8 days.
And who thought up the fanciest ways to sip the amazing leafy blends?
Brilliant.
Wouldn't you say?
The cups themselves amp up the ritual to a whole other level of joy.
I celebrated my restored lungs with the most incredible war wonton soup last night.
(I'm still dreaming about it)
And pot after pot of tea.
Filled over and over by the loveliest kindest little gal I ever did meet.
I've sipped so many cups of lemon ginger tea, I stopped counting.
The world is a fresh sparkly place when you feel well again, isn't it?
So, I just wanted to pop in and say hola!
As I pack my bag to go to a few estate sales.
On the never ending hunt for floral porcelain joys.
As we all know, the hunt is part of the magic.
I really just wanted to pop in and say helooooo🖤
It's a lovely day, isn't it?
Hope you are doing quite well.
Better than well really.
🖤
Off I go for now
Love, V

Bonsoir Vanessa, Hope you are going well. I love tea time and I always admire your colored porcelaine! xoxo. Monika
I am glad that you are feeling better! A cup of warm, tasty tea works wonders for the heart and mind! I’ve just started my hobby of collecting teacups (some with matching saucers and some without). I was surprised to learn that sometimes, you can find some beautiful teacups in resale stores!
The hunt is indeed the best. Glad you are feeling somewhat better. Ah yes! Tea for sure!!!
Oh myyyy! What a beautiful stack of dishes you have shown us here! I do love the vibrant colors so much. I am happy you are feeling better, and I am a tea lover, too. I also love estate sales, and I hope you found some treasures. 🙂
Dear Vanessa,
So glad to hear your feeling better! I just got over it myself about 3 weeks ago,,bug is going around. Just wanted to say Heloooo back and let you know how much I love visiting your website! I haven’t been on blogs in awhile but when I do I always think to myself hhmmmm I wonder what Miss Vanessa is up to? Then I proceed to visiting your site first! I just enjoy and appreciate your passion for life and creation!
Also wanted to share a tip you might not know about to keep the pumpkins around longer, I spray mine with 24K Gold spray paint or silver and then of course they are ready for Christmas and they last forever,,I’ve even painted mine red and had them last until Valentines Day!
I too don’t seem to own anything outside of a great pick either! Just the way I like it.
2 tea lou,,,,Karen Lawson
