Ooo, it came upon us sooo fast!!
It's here, Christmas times abound!
Collecting bits from the garden to make a fresh wreath.
Vintage satin ribbon we had on hand.
Easy and heart filling.
Boxwood, Pine, Rosemary, Berries.

Pomanders with oranges off the tree.
Sooo wonderfully fragrant.
Two looks.
Candy tones in one part of the house, fresh greens in the other.
The Christmas branch is up.
I found it on the ground the other day with all my fave vintage pink and teal ornaments broken. Hope I can replace them somehow.
Here it is put back together, luckily these survived.
The tiny village is a lovely treat every year.
Pink and teal love.
Some of the houses light up, so I have left them on and glowing for a couple weeks now.
One of my fave little friends…
Peaceful busy little times.
I have been baking like a patisserie of the real variety, putting goodies together.
Decorating.
Sending out last minute orders.
It's been great fun.
Holiday madness is good for the soul me thinks.
I decorated one of the real trees on a whim.
It's very grown up for me 😉
The swirled branch/vine ornaments look like bee hives to me.
I tucked in some fresh pittosporum.
They said the live garland would last weeks.
Not true, I remove it, soak it, get more, find fresh pieces…
It only lasts a couple days though.
It will be crisp as heck by the 26th, haha!
Well, I best get a move on.
I have a Christmas lasagna to finish up.
(new tradition, with bread and salad and ever sooo many treats)
I am not sure I will be able to assemble with Mister gobbling up the meat sauce.
He has made lots of deliveries to loved ones while I package and bake away.
Don't tell him I told you, but he is rather into Christmas it seems.
He put a horn on the mermaid, and a flute, but I took that away 🙂
And a mousie in one of the trees.
Warm and glowing, and time.
I was so sad because I didn't have a baby Jesus for my Joseph and Mary.
I thought about making one I got so desperate.
I whined for weeks about a baby Jesus.
One day I found a meringue in baby Jesus' place.
Funny Mister Lovee.
But this morning, when I woke up, I was moving things around, placing presents Mister Lovee's family sent us, went I let out a swoon scream…
BABY JESUS!!!!!
On a bed of straw.
Mister Lovee snuck in a precious baby Jesus.
Sigh…
Isn't that nice?
Love that gesture.
Happy Birthday baby Jesus!!
And, the most Merriest Christmas wishes to you and yours.
Thank you for being so kind to us.
For being kindred as heck!
For sharing yourself, and visiting us from time to time.
Truly, thank you.
Thank
You.
Loooove,
Vanessa, Mister Lovee, Matty and Miles.
xoxo

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to You and Mister and the furs. Thank you for sharing so much and making me smile a lot .
Merry Christmas!
Just got back from a Christmas Eve dinner at my friend’s house. We’ve been friends for over 40 years!
Funny, we’re having lasagna for the first time tomorrow too. We usually do German for my in-laws but they’re not coming in this year. They decided to go with the Italian side of the family this year.
Maybe next year I’ll add some of my Polish background to the festivities!
Have a great day tomorrow!
How divine your house looks with all of the fairy tale Christmas goodies!
Oh!
It touched my heart when you said Mr Lovee found a Baby Jesus for the manger scene. There is more to that man then meets the eye, me thinks! I am smiling from ear to ear.
So sorry the branch fell and you lost some of your teal and pink ornaments. Sad…;(
I am so late in posting! Have a very lovely day tomorrow and this late evening too!
XOXO with snow flake windows and frosted trees!
Miss Teresa

In a message dated 12/25/2013 12:28:38 A.M. US Mountain Standard Tim,
Glorious Christmas Eve was a light.
With candles from heaven burning bright.
As if from clouds above,
Light landing in our nest of love.
The advent wreath was alive-
With crystals, plants, and beast,
All love – no one greatest or least.
A crocheted white Christmas tree,
Dotted with silver, reds and pearls glowing free.
And yes, golds with white ice surround,
Covered a ‘lil’ fir tree like a crown.
An ancient brass horse road in,
To cut the wicks quite trim.
A mist colored candle started burning unusually bright,
Glowingly and sending out giant orbs of light.
Suddenly a riddle was rousing fun,
When that condlestick had 3 wicks instead of one.
Lil’ Mister our fur baby delight,
Played out in the yard in the darkest night.
Made him a nest with leaves and wood,
For his star gazing habit while protecting his hood.
Peppermint bark with holiday breakfast blend tea,
A toast to you and your loving family.
“Merry Christmas to the light of humankind,
May we be the light of love,
In the light of thought,
To give and understand.”
XOXO
What a magical decor you have…so pretty and glittery.
Merry Christmas to you and Mr. Lovee! 🙂
Vanessa, Mr. Lovee, Matty and Miles, May you all find peace and love on your heart at Christmas and always🖤

As always you post the most magical pictures – and your village is amazing!
Love, love your sweet post.
And especially that Baby Jesus

the little mouse under the tree.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Your wreath is lovely. I can smell the pomander you created too. I am a bit late for Merry Christmas wishes. I know you had a lovely day, my friend. I’m hoping Santa gave you everything you wanted and then some.

Your Christmas decorations are just beautiful 🙂 thank you for sharing the pictures, and. I hope you had a lovely Christmas.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas Miss V! This was my first year staying here in Tucson for Christmas instead of going home to Oregon. It was just a lovely, relaxing, Christmas with just me and Mister B and the furries. Good times!
When baby Jesus appeared, I got hot tears in my eyes!
Dearest Dear Vanessa,
Oh! Wasn’t your house just magical? Mr. V and I had a giggle when we saw the meringue in place of the Baby Jesus!! How very, very sweet of Mr. Lovee to have brought the Baby Jesus you wished for so much to make your collection complete!
Sending best and brightest holiday wishes for you and your lovely family, Dear Miss Vanessa!
