Hi there! I have been trying to get here for two days, alas I was covered in paint and glue and having so much fun with new creatures and art (officially in my shop) that I got carried away. The process of filling the shop and taking photos is longer than I expect every time, but fun all the same 😉
I have been fluttering in a theater where dreams come to life… (I just put the Original below, in my shop)
One of my favorite pieces, yet so difficult to photograph. The photos don't do it justice because you can't see all the sparkles and texture.
Anyhow, I also disappeared because a certain Magician stole my heart… A charming gentleman by the name of, Oliver Tobias ~
But before I start sharing faces, let me mention. For starters, I am having a Print Sale, buy 2 get 1 free, and the rules are at the top of my shop announcements. I don't have sales often, but every once in a while there might be a little party time sale of sorts…
As for new faces (I won't chat too much because I have to finish dinner and practice some new songs with Mister) but here they are, itching to meet you 😉
A little bunch of Gnomes with names like Ludo Pilnab and Yon Bleenickle ~ not to mention their deer, who have equally magical gnome forest names 😉
Then a sculpture take on my illustration of the tiny girl hiding in a magical tree stump…
Adeline Eudora ~
And a mushroom forest…
Oh, almost forgot, a tea pot girl, Little Miss Cordelia ~
You will also find a couple of elves and theaters and other fun stuff. If you have a moment, take a tiny peek, won't you? 😉
Those are the faces and curious creations for the day. I will be making many more treats, more often. Or at least, that is my plan ;)
I have a ton to say, and tales to tell, I will be back sooner than you think. I have a tiny house guest to tell you about! Mischief I tell ya, mischief!!
You can get to my shop by clicking here 🖤
I hear a guitar and a mandolin, must skedaddle…
ps: Art Poster Calendars on their way 😉
pss: Don't stop, Believing… (I know, I am so stinkin' corny)

Vanessa:
Is that the first gentleman you’ve sculpted for your shop? I adore him! But, as always, my favorite thing, one of my most favorite things in the world is what you do with the dictionary pages. I know I’ve said it before, but I am always left speechless by the movement and softness that you create with those pages. Wouldn’t it be fabulous if we all could really dress in flowing printed paper dresses?

Gerushia’s New World
There have been a few other guys hidden in there 😉 The Mad Hatter from
2008 is one of them, oh and the circus gentleman.. And now Oliver 😉 I
have thought often of a real flowing paper gown and making one… Perhaps you
have inspired something 😉 ~~ Sparkles!!
Uhh Ohh…I’ll be waiting for some photos of you dancing and skipping about Arizona in a paper dress!!
Kim
Such lovely creations V! Good luck with the sale!
She is beautiful!!! It’s amazing what you create…thanks so much for sharing. I must check out the shop and see what magic awaits. 🙂
Oh my Vanessa…more goodies…I’m so excited! Love the original painting and tea pot girl is just lovely too! I’m gonna have to take advantage of your print sale…how long is it going on?
Jamie 🙂
I just adore (is that too strong a word?) the new painting. The horse just makes it perfect! I hope this isn’t too strange coming from someone you don’t know, but I saw on your info that you went to UofA and that is actually one of the schools at the top of my grad school list that I am applying to right now. I would love to hear opinions of the school from someone who actually went there, and any advice that you have time to give would be greatly appreciated!
oh god, i am SERIOUSLY in love with stump girl! and the little round gnome things, im just blown away by the loveliness here, and the originality too – i NEED stump girl!
xxx
stump girl has gone:((
i noticed the wondrous alessandra though, im so charmed by her tiny owl^^
I absolutely love the women you do with the music paper collages for the dresses. I didn’t see the one above in your etsy.
~elaine~
oh wow wow wow I want EVERYTHING!
TWICE!
Strange thing – last night I saw a nice shadow of a horse fall upon one of my new Paris collages (same colour scale as the card I made) and I thought I have to incorporate the horse in one of them. I had propped the card up against the wall using a copper horse… And now you have a dark horse in the right corner of a painting with almost the same background colour :-O I was just about to go to bed so I didn’t actually take a photo / paint the horse into the picture. Gah. If – or when – I do, it is definitely not to copy you. Strange thing also – my horse is holding up its leg the same way as yours! Only it’s looking at the Eiffel tower 🙂
I love that print, Vanessa! What a great piece for a girl’s bedroom or a woman’s office/craft space. Love it!
I love the girl with the paperdress.
She looks phantastic
HAPPY almost Christmas to you Dearie! 🙂 Your world is such a magical light to drop in on! 🙂 We are off on our travels today, and shall be missing out on a big snow storm (the biggest in 10 years they are saying) which I am rather sad about….but ever so glad to be visiting family!!
Cheerio and sugar plum dreams to you!!
I think it is very common for creative people to have similar
visions. Never fear, I wont think anything about seeing a horse in your
work at all. I am horse obsessed these days. Everyone gave me horse
things for my birthday, which is so unusual 😉
You have been very busy with all these new little friends haven’t you? Which is why I haven’t gotten my “lecture” yet 😉 Well…it’s worth it to have your hands dipped in glue and paint and creativy goodness.
Love your new work!!

The new painting is astoundingly beautiful! In fact, everything is beautiful. I am so happy to have been able to bring a little piece of this goodness home. Thank you for creating such lovelies…if I had won the lottery, I would have been greedy and purchased them ALL. 🙂 Theresa
I love your creations and wish I could have your original enchanted garden girl with all the PINK! I would probably design my whole kitchen around it someday, hee hee. I just loved the Don’t Stop Believing and sent it to my son because he and his sports mates sing it on the bus going to a game!!!! Funny, lovely world. Keep up the magic and the beauty dear friend. You are a wonder and am glad to know your light.
I love everything! Of course I am going to your shop straight away, it is already in my favourites list in my new little shop. See you there!
Oh my! Little Miss Cordelia is about as adorable as I can stand! Awesome job.
I can’t believe how long it has been since I have been over here! Crazy Christmas time! I can’t believe I missed your B-day! I know you had a good one though. Love your new creations and I am totally hooked on the idea of a calendar!
Oh! Your newest painting is gorgeous! I love that blue and she is just so graceful and beautiful!
Hello Miss V.
Your new art is beautiful. Ok, now to check out what else you have been up to. I’ve been quite busy and haven’t been able to stop by and chat with bloggin’ friends for a while.
Oh, Vanessa!! It’s all just breathtaking!! One of these days I just know one of your shop updates will coincide with a moment I’ve sold a piece or two, and have money in my paypal account, haha…In the meantime, I’ll check out the print sale. 🙂

I just knew you were going to be having a painting for sale (collage’)and I WOULD have to come down with this darned flu bug, so I haven’t been to your blog in four days! Darn! Who ever got the lovely lady must be very happy… and all of the other goodies people walked off with while I was in bed. Oh, well, you are always full of MORE surprises…all is not lost.
Patience is a virtue. All good things come to those who wait… like rainbow colored cottages, confections, more lovely paintings, sweet creatures and elves and such…=^..^=
Your creations are beautiful as always. I wanted to stop by and wish you a Merry Christmas. Next week should be filled with lots of holiday activity and I might not be back before Christmas, so may you and Mr. Lovee have the loveliest Christmas.
Karen
Have a great weekend & happy holidays V!
