I have a little spring fun to share.
The March/April 2015 issue of Flea Market Decor Magazine is out, and…
Guess what?
We're in it!
Well, our last Mad Tea Party is in it, to be exact.
With lots of ideas and tips for having your own tea party.
I spotted it on the eve of Valentine's day in the grocery store.
I didn't know when it would be out or when we'd be in it for sure, so I was wonderfully surprised.
To celebrate I have an extra copy to give away.
All you have to do is leave a comment to enter.
Easy as pie 😉
I have to say though, this issue was so beautiful.
If you don't win our copy, take a peek if you spot it at the store.
My sister and I both agreed that it's been ages since we've been truly inspire by a magazine.
This one made us excited to clean and decorate our own houses.
I missed that sort of magazine inspiration in print.
This so hits to spot.
With a vast array of styles too.
I am crazy mad about this kitchen.
There's just so much goodness in it.
Here are some more snippets I took to share…
Scrumptious!
Delightful!
Fun and inspiring!
So in love.
There's so much more, but I don't want to ruin it.
What a great magazine.
I feel like all the magazines I loved have really become sort of lack luster.
So, it's extra refreshing for Flea Market Decor to be chock full of goodness.
And not lacking at all, love it!
Yummm!
Just leave a comment to enter the giveaway.
I'll promptly send a copy your way if you win.
I'll draw names in a couple of days.
It's gorgeous here in the desert.
Such nice warm days.
I'm already tanned from spending my mornings outside in this unusually warm February.
I have truly been enjoying my days so much.
Getting up early, working out and listening to music.
I listen to lots of music and search for new music all the time too.
I'm doing all sorts of projects.
I have been going into town for lunches and dinners and shopping.
Seeing the dentist, who gave me props on teeth cleaning.
I thought I may have had tons of cavities, but none, hooray!
You know, just doing stuff.
Living life.
Enjoying it to pieces.
Getting ready for the gardens and spring.
Painting, lots of painting.
Pieces I just paint for me, for fun.
Loving life.
Being in the moment.
Refueling.
Getting ready for fun new arty things to come.
Cleaning.
Organizing.
Buying new pretty shoes whilst purging oldies.
Is there anything better than a crispy clean house?
LOVE it!!
Okay, I'm rambling now.
How are you?
Do you have the spring bug yet?
Lots of love, V

How fun, Vanessa! Congratulations! It is always a pleasure to see you featured in my favorite magazines. I will have to make sure to pick up a copy of this one next time I am at the store. It sounds like you are having wonderful weather, too. Lucky you getting to be outside and actually enjoying it in February! We have snow and ice here. I will be happy if the temps stay above 32 degrees.
I do have the spring bug! I love all things Alice! I enjoy your posts, pictures, and words so much! You have a special way about you. Thank you for sharing with all of us. If I don’t win I will buy the magazine…..can’t wait to see!
How exciting! Congratulations and, of course, I’d love a copy! 🙂 Yes, I think I am getting that spring bug…and I’m normally a cold weather girl. I guess I just wonder if I might be able to put together a pretty flower garden this year? Maybe!
Blessings,
Sarah
Dearest Dear Vanessa,
Congratulations! How fun this is!! I’d love to be entered in the giveaway! A bit of springtime would be very most welcome right now in our world, which seems so locked in wintertime right now.
Sending biggest hugs, as always!!
Betty
You know I sooo want this! I’m all things Fanciful! Blessings, my sweet friend, from Texas
Hi! I can’t wait to see what you’ve been painting, hopefully in your etsy store? I’d also love to see your tea party in this magazine! Stay Amazing, Vanessa!
~Bonnie
Your work is magical and inspiring! Every time I see it, I long for spring or fall or both <3 Congratulations on getting published. That magazine is lucky to have you in it!
This is so exciting Vanessa, I cannot wait to get a copy!… and you are right, alot of the magazines are just ads these days, so different than the way they used to be… this looks fabulous!… congratulations!… and happy EVERYTHING!!!!… xoxo… Julie Marie
Oh how I wish this Winter was over already! How I long for the warmth that you are having!
You never fail to make me smile, Vanessa! It is always a joy to read your posts!
Have a wonderful and colorful evening!
Hugs! 🙂
Hi, Vanessa – Congratulations on your most recent publication ! You certainly deserve it. After all, who knows as much about tea parties, whimsical decor and the mystical/magical, than U !? Sounds like a truly wonderfully, unique magazine – would love to see it! Congrats again.
You always make me have a smile when I read or see your posts. I feel pretty just looking at your photos. We are in Summer here with the beginnings of Autumn in the air, so having such a Beautiful inspirational mag to poor over while sitting in the last of the summer sun would indeed be something special. xxx
You have inspired me in so many ways – I have my own gypsy garden because of you! Next my own tea party but at night under the fairy lights, so would love a copy of the magazine to help me plan! Never stop blogging please.
Thank you much for your constant inspiration! Here in Portland or ornamental plum is blooming two months early. I’m getting very itchy to have my hands in the dirt. Just waiting until I’m sure we are past the last hard freeze. Also feeling the strong urge to get back into sculpting of late. Must pick up some clay this week!
Congratulations!! That is so exciting. I love your tea parties and look forward to them every year!
I have my “Band of Gypsies” shirt on and somehow thought: I wonder what Mz. V is up to?! Very exciting you are in such a quality magazine. I love your style of decorating….C~O~N~G~R~A~T~U~L~A~T~I~O~N~S….
How wonderful for you! Your tea parties are so much fun.
Oh Vanessa, it looks wonderful! I’m yet to catch the spring bug, I keep going out but it hasn’t quite hit my English country garden yet. However I’m still so excited at just the thought of spring, I have snowdrops… Just waiting for more colour.
I’ll show you when it’s in bloom over on Instagram.
Emma xxx (vintagegoodlife)
Hi V…..a faithful follower for many years….I seldom comment. I look forward to your springtime posts as your spring arrives so much earlier than ours. You put a little warmth in my soul! We have had an especially hard winter…me and my large family of critters. I don’t often buy magazines, however, if I do not win this one….I will surely pick one up when I get to town. So glad to see your world in print for so many more to enjoy!
Sigh.
I found your lovelylovelylovely blog yesterday and I’ve been drooling over it ever since (mostly for the gypsy stuff).
Everything I see and read here has helped me to get over this winter… Winter always feels like too long here (and summer feels like way too short…) But now I know where to escape in need of light, warmth and relaxed (not frozen) atmosphere…
sigh.
Congrats for the Flea Market Style Magazine! What a delight it would be to have it in my own hands! I’d love it to pieces! 🙂
….Eerrrrr…. I mean of course Flea Market DECOR Magazine!! 😀
You inspire me daily to make my surroundings beautiful! Love Flea Market Decor mag, and you! Happy almost spring (maybe not here in the northeast, as its -10 this morning….) 🙂
I’ve never heard of this magazine before. It looks wonderful. I would love to win a copy. I wish it was warm enough where I live to be thinking of spring, but yesterday it was only 17–so I am dreaming of spring at the moment!
Vanessa, what an honor to be published in such a fine magazine. Congratulations! The weather here sucks and am so ready for spring. Winter has sapped all my energy. So glad you are experiencing a beautiful February. Happy coming Spring to you.
I am so glad to have found your blog a few years ago. I go back and read your stories and look at your pictures when it is too cold to garden here. I would love to see Flea Market Decor in person! I think I might get myself a subscription for my birthday!
Congratulations! Such a fun blog and such a fun magazine! I discovered your blog last Halloween. I have enjoyed it so much! Thanks for the giveaway. Please keep up the beautiful sharing — you sure do brighten a lot of peoples’ days!
Congratulations! That is awesome. I love Flea Market Decor. My 1 bdrm apt dining room is flea market decor and I Love it.
Winning the mag. would be a thrill
M J Harvey
Hi Vanessa..
That’s wonderful news about your feature.. Although I had looked at your tea party pictures before, yesterday, I took some time to find out exactly what it was! How very fun! You know how to celebrate life and your creativity is so inspiring. 🙂 Your blog is a magical place to visit and your sweet spirit makes it even more special. Thank you so much for sharing.
Best wishes for a lovely day. We are getting a delightful snow in Eagar! YAY..
Hugs,
Tamara
Ooooh – beautuful! Congratulations, Vanessa! (Of course, I am not *at all* surprised – I mean, what fun magazine wouldn’t want you and all your Fanciful-ness on its pages?)
And I know just what you mean about home/decor magazines. I used to have a subscription to Victoria, and I loved it, but I haven’t read those types of mags for a while now. Some of it is finding the time (life seems to get busier and busier) to actually read through one every month, but a lot of it is that they just seem to be repetitive and fall flat now. This one, though (your Flea Market Decor), looks great! (I really like that blue kitchen, and the little camper? – oh, oh, oh!!) If I don’t win a copy I will go on the hunt for one up here.
As far as the spring bug – not so much up here yet: still below zero temps and snow, but it is awfully pretty and peaceful these days, and just what I think winter ought to be. (Except for yesterday – when there was no heat at work and so the bookshop was a crispy 44 degrees! Eek! Got it fixed, but I will admit that *that* wasn’t exactly romantic…) ; )
Anyway. glad to hear it is warm in AZ, and that you are enjoying your days and re-fueling – take good care!
~Jenn
P.S. – New shoes?!? Where are the pictures?!?
Congratulations! This is well-deserved recognition. Love your china. I think vintage china is the most beautiful.
Happy Almost Spring! 🞠🣠ðŸž
Oh how awesome! Congrats on the article! I know what you mean by magazines being less than inspiring the last few years. This issue does look lovely though.
Cheers!
Tracy M.
Oh Vanessa, that’s just fabulous. Just the peek of the photos you showed on this post has me just itching to win it! (And hoping that if I don’t I am able to find a copy here!)
Congratulations — that’s just terrific. Well deserved. I am thrilled for you!
Vanessa….how lovely to see you share your magical surroundings in this magazine!
It’s always a pleasure to be inspired by you!
~hugs,
Dena
Count me in! I LOVE this magazine!
Congratulations! I love your blog, I love your style, I’d love to win.
Oh congrats so very much on being featured! I loveeee the pictures they included. I certainly do have the spring bug, but the weather isn’t keeping up with my seasonal transitions 😉 Still snowy and cold!
Congratulations on the feature. I haven’t picked up that magazine in years, but you’ve inspired me to go seek it out. Spring is already on it’s way here too and I’m anticipating being inspired by all the lovely images and ideas.
Your tips, parties, ideas and fun way of life inspires all who dare to dream with you. Thanks for sharing and giving us great ways to be creative.
Hi Vanessa
Congratulations on being in this magazine- I love it!
Kim
How exciting! This is a great little magazine. Oh tea parties…we just had one at my house this past weekend. I need to post pics at my blog.
Dearest Vanessa ~
I am Loving Spring as well. Celebrating by finishing “Garden Spells” from your book list a while back. Captured me from the first chapter. Claire sounds like you <3. Our sweet puppy Willow is now a year and a half. No describing how much we are in Love with this beautiful fur baby. Congratulations to you on your feature in the magazine. I used to be SO in Love with Victoria magazine. Planning a tea party this summer for all my girls . . . can't wait.
Oceans of Love to you and your family.
Oh pick me for the magazine. I would love to see it all.
Dreaming, but looking at daffodils in my garden. The sun
is just shining on them.
How fabulous! What a lovely giveaway, thank you for the chance to win! 🙂
Hello😊
I love reading your blog posts and seeing your world! Especially at this time of year. Here in northern Michigan the nights have been dropping down to 20 below zero. It’s been a challenge caring for 6 chicken coops and my dairy goats :). I can’t wait for Spring and gardening again! Thanks for letting me live vicariously through your lovely sunshine and color.
Congrats on the publication! The issue looks delightful and full of inspiration. Thanks for the giveawayâ¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸

Congratulations yet again in being published in another magazine. I’d love to see it, but I have a feeling I better try to find one in a bookstore. Still no spring for us, but it’s getting closer!
Congrats on your magazine entry! I love flea market treasures. I grew up going to them as a child and found my best treasures there!
Congratulations. Love the pictures you shared.
Congratulations on a lovely feature! I have looked all around for this magazine and it does not seem to exist in my part of the world~ so sad! Looks very inspiring for my gypsy art ways!
How wonderful! Congratulations, that’s fab news 🙂 I’ve been away from blogging for a while, but I remember taking part in the Mad Tea Party in 2011! I’m planning on joining in again this year, now I’m back online properly. I’d definitely love to win the copy of the magazine – I’m keeping everything crossed 🙂
Hello Sweet V! Just a quick note to say Howdy and how simply lovely I think you are. My heart warms every time I stop by. You are such a delight. I wish you tons of love, warm spring days, fur hugs and beautiful flowers.

What great fun to be published in a magazine, how wonderful for you and everyone else who reads. I just came across your blog by accident and absolutely love it. I’m jealous that you are having a warm February, here its so cold I had to actually go out and buy sweaters, I can’t wait for spring, in the meantime, I am sipping my hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream and slowly cleaning and organizing.
Congratulations on your feature in this wonderful publication. It’s a favorite of mine!
Congratulations! That’s so cool. I love it when you’re in magazines and I can share in the moment for a second time – you know besides when I read it here on your blog. LOL. So happy for you.
You know what is funny, I just bought a similar magazine “Flea Market – Gardens” and I really think it would appeal to you also. I didn’t see the other one though, so I’ll have to go to the bookstore and see if it’s there. Yay, a legitimate excuse to go to one of my favorite places…a bookstore. ‘;)
Yayyy, Vanessa , Dear!! You know I couldn’t wait so I got my copy today at Walgreen’s! Still so snowy and nasty here (can you believe we went YEARS without any significant snow??)….So I made the Mister take me out to look for it! Going to savor it in just a bit!
Many congrats and hugs, my Dear!
Anne & the Kittehs
If it is still open I would LOVE to win a c opy, I love looking through magazines like this and dreaming! <3
Thank you for the giveaway! And how wonderful that your mad tea party is in such a beautiful magazine. It’s still cold where I live but I am cleaning the house so that when it’s warm I can be outside. 🙂
Is it too late to enter? I could use some inspiration around here. Minneapolis is a grey and dreary place right now!
Congratulations!
Deborah
I love looking at these type of magazines. Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂
Hello Darling V,
I am so excited for you! I actually purchased that magazine to browse while my mother was in ICU but then things have gotten so hectic that I haven’t had a chance to look at it. I will definitely sit down with a cup of tea this afternoon and sit in the garden with you. I can’t wait to see it for myself.
I often find myself coming here when I need some color, art and a visit with my creative friend. Thank you for a place for my tired brain to rest. Keep doing what you do!
xoxo to the moon and back,
Vicki
How exciting! I will be looking for the magazine when I am out and about. Your tea parties are so fun and joyful. Glad you were featured! Thanks for sharing these photos.
How completely exciting, congratulations!!!! I will have to find this issue now; it looks jam-packed with lots of eye candy and such creatively unique home ideas — my kind of inspiration. Thanks for sharing this news with us! I’m glad it was a surprise for you too, when you saw it in the store. How wondrous is that?! 🙂
