Decisions, Decisions, Decisions

I just realized, while sitting here with Dutchess Jelly Bean head, having a last sip & a teensy sweet nibble with the cup that will fly north … I have a really self-centered blog.  And, how is it that all of you wonderful creatures put up with me?  I have a show, I have a cold, I want new shoes, I stubbed my toe, my cat now speaks English, I have vertigo…..(okay, I don't even have a cat, but you get my point)

I must admit, I secretly have to shout out, "Yippeeeeeeee."  What a treat to have a place where all of us can share our little worlds.   I think it is wonderful and delightful, and what a jumbo ice-cream cake to be able to share what we are thinking and what we care about with women who will listen and respond!  WOW! This is purely magnificent.  You girls are a blast!!!Cheers & Chomp…

That said, I have to commend you all for your fantastic shoe choices for me.  And, if I were to die soon, and, someone figured out how to get into my blog and post about it… I would go in peace, knowing that any one of you, could make an appropriate final shoe choice for me.  And, I am sure that if Tricia was making the decision, she would not put those 8" stripper heels with glitter on me for my funeral, right? You guys wouldn't let her right??? hee hee hee…(Tricia, you are too much fun, I howled when I saw those)

Strippershoes

Soooooooo, tan ta-da tan….The choice for the next shoe purchase was like a long gruelling visit to the shrink.  You see, I have realized that, this shoe purchase was very very significant.  I am having to put away my fave shoes of all time for special occasions only.  I suppose that by using them so often, I simply wore them out.  They are my Deloris & Maxine treasure.  I sent them to myself to work, 3 years ago, all wrapped with a gift tag from Anthropologie, for my birthday. So, it is a bit traumatic (melodramatic is more like it, but whose noticing anyway?).

They have been glued back together twice…But, the wonderful thing is, when they ripped at the side seam, they exposed a lovely floral fabric. Like they were saying "Surprise, it is over, but we offer you this lovely floral fabirc as a peace offering?"

Poor pitiful green satin things….

Soooo, the winner of my giveaway is someone who sent me to De La Sole Footwear.  Where I spied these, which lead me here. I know, it is strange.  With all the choices.  But, my comfort cardigan is pink. I wear it all of the time, I carry it in my bag like a comfort blanket.  I take it out when I am uncomfortable, lonely or cold.  And then, the green heel is like a tribute to my Deloris & Maxine pair above…

Farylrobin

See, I really am sensitive about my shoes.  And, if you have not figured out who you are, my new shoe accomplice.  Well, it is the darling Sonya of KnitSonya. Congrats my sweets!  Although, I must say, I could have totally maxed out my credit card with all of the fun shoe shops all you girls sent me to…  From Polka Dot Espadrille wedges to sublime flats (that I sadly can't wear due to the not so tall person factor. 5' 3" on a good day, without shoes, that is) Gucci knock-offs to die for and other outrageous delights… It was a long & hard decision.  I looked and looked, until I just couldn't anymore.  The reason is, I kept comparing them all to this pair.  And, I just have to have these for now…

I thank you all to bits for participating! If I had more little cups and they all didn't take hours to make, you would all get one! Maybe if I get some Oompa Loompas working for me soon, then you too can have a handy dandy wee "drink me" cup.

Oompaloompa

Yes folks, the "drink me cup" way above and a bundle of other handpicked items are the prize for today's, "Find the shorty's perfect shoe game."  Live to you from a truly hot, bizarre and psychotic Arizona.

Congrats Miss Sonya!!!! Yippee!  Here is a -as I was so wonderfully called in an e-mail recently-A "Miss Marie Anoinette Fanciful French Twist" thank you!!!!!! For all of you and a special Congrats to Miss Sonya!!!!
