Good news! Wee faces and new paintings will be available in my shop on Friday December 16. Hoooray, they are all so excited!
A bevy of bunnies are eager to be adopted!
Along with heart breakingly darling sweetums…
How can I ever say good-bye to the tiny kitten?
Well, I suppose if kitten goes with Kitty Kat Mama (which she will), then that's okay 😉
So many happy sparkly faces (a few not pictured)…
With proper names of course…
I have not finished photographing, but I will within the next couple hours. Must go to the post office, then come back, finish up, and get them all in the shop…
A few elves, and a few cake heads…
All dressed for the event 😉
All parcels will be upgraded to priority shipping, to make sure they arrive in time for the holidays.
Oh oh, a couple more original paper dress girls as well…
Tea Times too!
That includes a break for real life cozy tea time.
My favorite sort of break!
For one semester at university, I studied the art of tea, in my Japanese Humanities class.
Such a beautiful ritual, isn't it?
Soothing, peaceful.
A nice break, but heart lifting too…
I don't take sugar in my tea, but I do keep some around, as the sweet cubes make me happy.
You?
The roses are becoming less and less in the garden.
I think I will have some in my salad this evening…
I tell you, there is little that I enjoy more after sculpting and painting and sealing and glittering, than opening the tea cupboard…
Time stands still, if only for a few minutes, while the electric kettle boils (I love my electric kettle, dandy little thing).
And sipping ensues!
A wee break, and then, into the shop the little faces go!
Again, that is 7:30 p.m. Arizona time, tonight.
Soooo, hooooray, just in the nick of time.
I will package over the weekend, and ship everything priority, early Monday.
Assuming adoptions are made 😉
USPS says priority parcels still have time to arrive for Christmas (if shipped by Dec. 21). Every where else in the world will more than likely arrive after Christmas.
See you soooooon!
Love, Vanessa

And, lots of wee Faces. (all have found homes now, hooray hooray, we are so thankful!! There will be more soon)

Oh, dearie me. I will be at a partay tonight when the wee ones come available for adoption! I will check the status of them all when I get home!
Total excitement!! The wee elves and cake heads are ever so fun. They seem to be vibrating with excitement for the upcoming travels to their new homes especially with the hussle and bussle of the holidays.
The art of tea… how fortunate to attend such a interesting class! Tea is my favorite afternoon pick-me-up… especially on a friday at the mundane that seems to go on and on and on -lol-
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie
Oh my goodness Vanessa! I am soooo excited about your little elfin creatures! I will be waiting and at 7:30 sharp and I shall hopefully be purchasing one of your little guys on the dot! (That may be a tad bit of an exaggeration, but trust me, I reallllly want one!)
And honestly, when I scrolled down to those pictures of your china and teacups and lovely cabinets, I literally swooned. I love teatime!
And I am sorry about your rose supply depleting…but look forward to a fresh batch next year! And rose salad sounds amazing. I have never tried it before, but maybe I should give it a shot?
Thank you for making my day sparkle in cotton candy colors 🙂 You are a truly delightful person!
xoxo

The breezes were dancing and singing a tune,
Visiting and tickling to visit a room.
They spotted a cottage with warm glowing lights.
Looked into the window and much to their surprise.
A party was happening with the merriest of elves.
Ballet dancers and cabinets with moving shelves.
The breezes giggled and danced on the roof.
Then in through the key hole to the party they puffed.
Everyone was so well dressed as they mingled about.
The breezes flew & fluttered gaily in and out.
Bunnies and cake heads all dressed up too.
Tea with one cube of sugar, and cream will do.
The holiday spirit is so full of love.
Especially when you visit Miss V.
And settle in for a quaint and colorful cup of tea.
Happy, happy, Merry Eve.
Ooh such fun and beautiful treats, and that little kitty is the cutest! 🙂 I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season! ~Lauren
There will be some happy shoppers tonight! Your sweet creations are perfect for Christmas! Happy holidays, my friend! Have a cheery weekend! 🖤🖤🖤
I am sooo very excited…I am 3 hours behind you so I hope I’m still up. I will make sure. That will be 10:30 for me. I will try so very hard. I need a companion for for my other cute one I got from you.
Tea sounds so very nice right now..it is 30 degrees here and still no snow. I will have some tea with you. Hope you have a good night.
I got to see a few of the listings..go just as quick as you post them! I’m going to get one ….one of these days! A little elf is going on my wish list for this next year! Thanks, Vanessa! Hugs! 🖤🖤🖤
Ah, I was late as always. I’m SO happy the wee elfins all found new and happy homes. 🙂 They are all so sweet. I do adore how that deer print looks in that frame. 🙂 Your new original paintings are just stunning – especially the faerie one. 🙂 You DESERVE a lovely cup of tea after all your hard work. Hope you have a most lovely weekend! xoxo
Just as I suspected–they were all snatched up whilst I was at my partay! Oh, but I see that you said there will be more soon. Might I ask you to define “soon”? : D
What! Dangit, how do I always miss everything! Your lovelies go so quickly I can never manage to snag one. I especially love the tea and magic painting, although it is probably good that it sold because I would have been tempted to buy it and definitely do not have the money right now…but I still wish I might have been able to get one of the little wee friends. Sigh, oh well maybe next time.
ps. Your tea cupboard looks just like mine, with so many tea cups I have to stack them on top of one another! That is the danger of working at a tea room, I come home with so many pretty orphans.
Oh Goodness! I have been watching all night and have missed them some how even though I kept refreshing the page 🙁 Selling like hot cakes they are!!!
Oh, and I did want to add, “Congratulations, Vanessa!” I know you must be beyond thrilled that your creations are so loved.
well these are so delightful and i have so enjoyed looking at them. i am very happy for you they are all on their way to loving homes.
i have though of you often as i am preparing for christmas and using you darling tags for many things, they make me smile every time i see them.
i love having sugar cubes around also, even though i use honey in my tea ;). i even bought a red food writing tool so that i could draw hearts on mine. 🖤
I truly hope you enjoy the storm that is coming our way. i love reading your blog knowing that you are somewhere rather close to me here in az.
be well and merry christmas.
🖤

I missed them again. I always late with your post because of the Italian time! Will I be able to buy some of your new creations one day? I need a ” Vanessa alert App” ahaahahah
Oh how I love your paintings and dolls!! Actually I’m in a artassociation at work and I have tried to lob for buying art from etsy (thinking of your work) No response! I got really dissapointed on this years lottery it was paintings with a abstract motifs and lot of red, giving blood splatter assosiatons.
GORGEOUS!!!! Don’t mean to yell, but, they are soooooo sweet! Great art, my dear! Blessings to you.
Congrats on finding wee little homes for all of your little babies! How lovely they will be traveling during the holiday season to their new homes to be loved and treasured….
Your figurines and artwork is just breath taking Vanessa! I love it 🙂 Makes me wish Spring were coming next week.
Love those figurines!
Wonderful, magical artworks, Vanessa! Just beautiful : )
Think of all the happy faces you are creating – the ones on the shoppers and the ones on the receivers opening those magical packages.
Those paper girlies are fantastic 🙂

So cute, that kitten! Also, the fairies with the book paper dresses is adorable.
Congrats on the new content! They look cute, and they’d make fine ornaments to have any day of the year. Anyway, aside from your blog here, do you use other social media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, to promote the new items in your online store? That could help you get more people interested in your wares.
