I used to ‘smell’ the flower and feel the lovliness of the petal tickle my nose,( and when I was a wee girl I thought they were called Mourning Glories at least that is what my mother told me), appropriate for mourning the loss of sweet, sweet Baby. I cry everytime you write about Baby but it’s a good cry because it brings good memories of lost pets of mine. My neighbor planted morning glories along their fence and the flowers have been gracious enough to grown on my side too. They have a sprinkler syster through out their backyard and I only have one in part of my garden. The rest is trees, dirt and sometimes grass and green weeds with little yellow flowers. So you can see that any shared greenery with flowers is very welcomed.
