Hello Spring!

It seems that mother nature whisped by in her long white gown last night, adorned with a crown of leaves and blooms – and blew kisses over our little desert land, because…

Springing 8

Things I had not seen yesterday, I magically see today!

Unless, I forgot to put on my spring radar goggles?

😉

No but really, on my walk this morning, the earth smelled warmer - the scent of spring twirling about…

Springing 4

It's so pretty, this time of year.

Where seasons pass the torch…

Springing 6

I am certain I wasn't dreaming…

Springing 1

Hello little purple guy!

Springing 7

I am officially spring obsessed.

How will I ever get anything done with flowers showing up to tea-party?

Springing 3

I'll tell you this. –

The blooms make me want to do one thing, and one thing alone…

Springing 2

Can you guess what it is?

Springing 5

I want to crank this up, and skip in circles!

In the warmth of spring on its way (6 more days?)

Actually, I think I will do just that!

Let's dance around a little, shall we?

Force yourself to smile.

Can you?

It will make your heart feel lighter instantly.

I know, it works doesn't it?

Let me try it…..

A fanciful twist silly spring drawing

It worked!!

A Sparkly Heart see you soon

    Vanessa:
Our worlds are looking much the same. My plum tree is blossoming and it smells Heavenly. This is my favorite time of the year.
Soon…you will be cutting bouquets and baking yummy goodness filled with peaches!

  2. Spring.
Yes I do remember it. And it WAS a very lovely time.
Vanessa, I JUST KNOW that you WILL make the most of every Spring day that bursts upon you and your idealic family, living in your enchanting world.
I am finding a little bit of MAGIC in every Autumn morning that comes my way lately. The slight chill in the air is refreshing and invigorating after such a hot Summer. Both Spring and Autumn hold so much anticipation and promise…I love them both!
If I was there, where you are, I would be snipping blossoms and filling bottles and vases around the house, with beautiful bouquets…and leaving a little nosegay here and there. Enjoy!
    🖤

  3. Renee says:

Spring is starting here. I love it. Of course the weeds are loving it, too. I need to work in my flower beds, pull weeds, add mulch and wait and see what comes back.
Thanks for helping lift my spirits today.

  4. Kelly says:

I decided to plant my seeds in some large pots and see how they do. We too have weeds and the ground is sooo hard in Phoenix. I will not let it stop me I am not going to wait. I decided I can try and transplant later if I need to and by then my ground should be weeded and dug up. My trumpet vine is slowly coming back this year after the freeze we had. I check every day! Spring is coming<3<3<3 Oh yes, I potted hollyhocks this year and also some sunflowers. I would like to pot some sweet peas this week too. Lets Dance! Yes, thank you Vanessa for all your inspiration and cheer!

  5. Nicki says:

I posted on my blog a little spring inspired post last night, too, but then woke up this morning to heavy snow!!! Ugh! It’ll be warm on Wednesday, but I wish it was NOW. It’s very cold and wet right now so I’m making homemade chili macs to warm us up tonight. Wish I had such beautiful flowers to look at. I’m so sick of winter!!

  6. Yay! It worked!
So so so much snow – but today I found catkins on a tree! I stole some.

  7. Love your blog! I can’t believe we’re swooning over each others work without even knowing it. We do have a lot in common. We’re sisters in style!

  8. GG Pinkster says:

    Today at about four-
I walked through an invisible door.
    It smelled of spring
    And the flowers did sing.
    I pitched up high-
    And breathed a sigh,
    To ever frolic more.
    Oh what a silly thing,
    This glorious feeling of spring.
It has me wanting to pour,
    Tea for 2 or more,
    While planting seedling beds
    With flowers for heads.
I do say -that snow and now flowers!
A dream come true from colorful showers.
Time to visit la V.V. desert cafe,
Where pups and all find their way.
A toast and blessing to you this spring-
The white puffys bells a ring a ding a ring.
    Happy, Happy Glorious Spring!
    xo

  13. Donna Gotlib says:

These photos are wonderful! I just returned from the south where spring is in full bloom.
It snowed three inches my first night home. Yesterday I got stuck in the snow.
    Your photos are a delight!
    Hugs.

  14. Cary says:

    Happy Almost Spring!
There is a FLing for the Fairies in my backyard tonight and YOU and the Mister are invited.
I like this Talking Heads song. I didn’t know this one. Is it called Home?

  17. OT but… I have a request for you, please… Your blog is listed, on Mrs. Staggs Blog List, at “A Happy Miscellany” blog. And she allows no Comments, as you well know.
But since you are on her blog list, perhaps you have a way to contact her. If so, would you please tell her thank you! for her lovely post about the Japanese people, which she posted today, Wed. I linked to it, as a lovely way to say, what many of us are feeling, at this time of horror……. In regard to continuing our happy blogging.
Please tell her, thank you, for me.
    Thank you for doing so.
    Gentle hugs…

  20. Theresa says:

Such AMAZING spring beauty! I love it all! I wish I could smell – or at least gaze upon – each and every lovely flower. 🙂 I didn’t need to force a smile – it just came naturally. I am thankful our CROCUSES have bloomed (although it was rainy today and they were quite shy – so they stayed in their homes). But still – hurray! xoxo Theresa

  21. Rhonda Roo says:

i have been outside every minute i can because azaleas are bursting with pinks lovely but my FAVE is wisteria which is currently all over the place, though it only stays a few weeks, but it makes me beyond crazy euphoria happy just to look at it while the bees buzz all around it!
(i think fairies live in it)
that picture you drew is sooooo cute-its such a skip while eating a lollipop and piggy tails fly kinda picture. XOXOXOXOX

  22. The pictures were totally cute, summer is rapidly approaching and to think that spring is really something we just can’t help ourselves get excited for summer.

  23. Courtney says:
