Time passes by so quickly, doesn't it? Turn the key, tic toc, tic toc…
It seems like it was just OWOH 2008, when we were all getting together, sharing… People from all over the world – joining in for this event… And now, the wonderful event is here again!!
I love that we get to jump on the Gypsy Caravan, such a dreamy visual… And go from place to place visiting one another…
Putting up our tents…
Playing our music…
Sharing bits and pieces of who we are and what we love… (gypsy photos from a previous post)
Who knows where we might go…
What we might find…
Or what it might inspire…(revisited photos)
But the beauty is that in this virtual space, we can visit worlds we may have never reached… Realms of endless sharing and possibilities…
And now, we sit at the cusp of this year's event… Time brings us to a new experience. A new chapter of sharing…
When I think of the idea of One World One Heart, I see it from the perspective of a person who lives to create art. I see it as a time to share a little bit of what makes up my heart.
My place in that vast space of One World, One Heart.
My world, my heart, is art…
Through the Secret Keyhole, unlocking a door to a place that is, the only place I know. The place that I love… The place that unfolds with new adventures every day…
The place that lets you visit, have tea & treats, be silly. A place to be yourself, be free. Be safe, be happy, lose your worries, run with creative abandon dangling from your fairy wings… Be a part of a like minded group of people… (photo of my elves & creatures, from New Year's)

Last night, in my dreams, I dreamt that I was in a warm forest, led on a path by the moonlight, and I could hear music that was filled with enchantment and ethereal bliss. It inspired such feelings in me, in my dreams. The music was meeting different dots, on the connect the dots map of our creative heart strings…
Then I realized, the music, was very familiar. And I knew, when I awoke this morning, what my giveaway was to be…
You see, there are three pieces of artwork I have done, that my brother Adam, has composed music for. He did this without my knowledge… It was his sonic vision, of those pieces. He shared a bit of his world, and his heart, with me, through my work… I found this perfect, to then share with you. As it was the music I heard in my dream…
This is where my giveaway comes into play… My giveaway will be 4 archival pigment ink, canvas prints, along with a CD with all three songs pertaining to the art pieces.
The details are:
Strange Beautiful Lady…
The story to this piece goes like this:
The story would always be the same. The seasons would change, the years would go by. But, the Strange Beautiful Lady would walk up the hill. In her long ball gown and sparkling jeweled crown. As if everything were candy and scones. She with her children in hand, would go outside to frolick and play. People from near and people from far, would listen and know that bewildering tune she sang. As if letting out it from deep in her heart, her little sonic art. "Ah yes, the children will play, they will dance and they'll sway, on a perfectly lovely and gloomy day, they say, they say…" – Vanessa Valencia
And then there is, Strange Beautiful Lady Carnivale…

And the last, most recent piece to have a soundtrack composed for it is, A Peculiar Day. She was featured in a snippet of Artful Blogging last year…

So, my giveaway package, is one of each of these prints, and a cd player playable version of the songs you hear in these videos, on disc…
This will be the first time the songs have ever been available on disc. The prints fit an 8" x 10" mat or frame opening.
